Good race once again fellas. Sorry about when i spun Bob, was tryin to stay outta the way but my car slid back on and the tires grabbed and threw me toward the wall. Had 6th locked in and was happy with that, but ............due to the misfortune of 2 others i obtained a very lucky 4th place finish. cyas

During yellow pace lap computer just rebooted all on its own.I am in the process of ordering new mobo cpu and memory.This is 3rd time this has happened to me.It will not happen again.Race ya all later.

Slept just 2 hours and couldn't force myself to get up for practice, qualified last. Race went better than qual except restarts, on all restarts fall back, on second one my shifter jammed and i lost few seconds thinking why it didn't shift to 3rd gear... Almost fall asleep during the long run, but then remembered about pit stop and finally finished the race.
Next time i'll try to make setup not just for the race but for qual too :)

This was a fun race, second one in two months due to some house renovation, but great to get back into it. Had a decent car, main goal was to run laps and get the feel back again. Just barely avoided the big one in the first quarter of the race, then around the half way mark I accidently shifted into second gear going into turn 3. Completely destroyed the engine instantly. Lot of great racing though, I was two wide a number of times, can't wait to race everyone again, one of the cleanest races I've ever been a part of.

I think I should only say two things: the first is, when approaching the last turn of the last lap one should remember that being up in 4th position after having managed to screw up a last green flag pitstop AND having been very slow in practice should NOT be a reason to leave your brain in bimbo mode and downshift to second gear.
The second thing, and most importantly: it is the opportunity to race against gentlemen like Tom Malanga and David Fridley which reminds me why I love sim racing so much and why a Saturday night on TS with you all is priceless. Thank you.

Was really cool to see my old friend Jarrod AKA Vette out on track and running up top all night.
But what made the night really fun was Mike and I getting togather and working like teammates.I think we ran some 50 laps with no yellows and 1 green flag pit.
I think one of the best moves of the night was when the last yellow came out and mike was 2nd I 3rd and Jarrad 1st.Mike made a great fake to pit and I think Jarrod dove in to late to try and come back out and ended up pitting.I think it put him to far back to ever catch up again.

Yea Tom was a great time! Yea after the last yellow I went in for a pit and everyone else stayed out. Slowly worked my way back up to third but Tom and Mike were unreachable. Was happy with third but... With two laps to go i double shifted down into second and blew the motor! Ended up 8th. Glad to be back in a car. See ya guys at the next one :)

All right boys and girls do as I say and not as I do! Third to fourth down the straight rather than third to second.

The car felt good after the pit stop so I was able to pass some people along with braking and shifting a little earlier in the last turn. Like Richard before me - I had a nice flame out from the missed shift.

I thought I was the only one. Now I feel a little less stupid. Just a little though.

I did that during practice once, so I made it a point to not to do it during the race.

As for the race, I wasn't terribly great. I just struggled to get a hold of this track and be consistent. But I fought hard all race, trying to make every position I could. And somehow I ended up in 4th behind Jarrod towards the end of the race. He ended up messing up and I got 3rd in not the way I wanted. You ran well and I hated to see that at the end there Jarrod. You deserved better.

But congrats to Goulds Pumps Racing on sweeping the podium, with Tom taking a well deserved victory, as well as Michael for his second. You guys were untouchable at the end of the race there. 10 more laps and you 2 would have lapped the rest of the field. Well done!
