Iowa 200

Good racin guys, very funn stuff! My car seemed to get quicker after 10-15 laps, i could start runnin real close to 30.0's. I was pretty stoked about the last stint coz i was sittin in 7th with a few laps on my tires and then i got disconnected because its stormin pretty bad here:( cyas next week

Man I threw away another good race! Had some great side-by-side racing with MANY people. It was great fun guys. In practice, I wound up with a decent setup, but never really put a long run together. In the middle of the race, we had that long green run, and my right front was giving up. I found that if I beat feet down to the apron in T1 nad T3 and dropped the entire left side down on the apron, it would help hook the backend around so I'd be able to keep my foot to the floor. I did it many times. Then we got a yellow. Came back out and was racing hard try to hold my position from some hard chargers behind. But I made the mistake of hitting the apron on fresh tires, and the backend hooks, but with too much grip it actually turns me enough that I couldnt hold onto it. Hope I didnt hurt anyone's race there. I defintely killed my race right there. Grats to Jeremy. I was able to keep the leaders in sight, but when Jeremy had to come up through the field, I had nothing for him. Of course after spinning and pancaking the right side I had nothing for anyone.

I am constantly dissapointed by my performance in Arca. I had a great car for long runs, but I had a lousy driver behind the wheel. Unfortunately my car was damaged in the rear before the race even started, but then I myself managed to destroy the car in every conceivable way throughout the race. One of the 66 cautions in the first 40 laps was brought out by me when I simply lost it trying to stay under Matt I think. Couldn't quite do anything with my car. I also got a horrible screen freeze in the second-to-last caution, I got really scared I ran over someone when that happened because suddendly I found myself on the apron on T1. I was also caught by surprise by the last caution on the last lap, I slowed down and then realized we could race to the chequered. A fitting idiot end for an idiot driver.
Congratulations to Jeremy. He deserved this. I was watching him during practice and he was so incredibly smooth, so precise it was a joy to watch. Truly a driver that had his car tuned to follow his lead.

I find Iowa a difficult track but I made some last minute changes to a previous race set-up made the car better in longer runs. Didn't pit on the first caution cause I wanted to see how the set-up was going let some fast runners by but still went too high and let almost everybody by. Had some good racing in the back until I went too deep in one and clipped, I think, Stan and slid along the wall. Second caution came out and I lost my connection right before the green.

nobody can say they have not had a race like this. i could not do anything right. thats all im gonna say
