Got disconnected just after 2nd pits, never happened to me before. :(

Good race while it lasted, Dennis and Ryan.

Did much better than I imagined, people missing for this?

Q'd 5th and was very happy.
Ran softs for race as the stock tires I couldnt control the car, I would of DNF'd. Thought to make early pit stops if I had to.
My Pace was a bit off beginning to middle of 1st stint. Had great battles with Daniel Montour (we battled in novice as well), he got around me and checked out. Then battled Richard Johnstone till he made a mistake and then had Ryan Ansoon on my ass. After 1st pitstop tried laying down consistant 31's to get a bit ahead of Ryan. After all said and done with 10 min to go I had Ryan by 10 seconds, then traffic and leaders dropped me to 5 ahead, and finished there, in 5th a few seconds ahead of Ryan.

Solid race from me, chased DC and RJ for the first stint, lots of fun. I changed my rear tires on the second stop which was a mistake they would have made it and I possibly could have exited pits just ahead of DC, but would have had trouble holding him off.
Solid, mistake free race,happy to finish so high.

Sorry boys, I was 30000 miles up in the air watching the F1 race on JetBlue's directv. ;)

Looks like a parade for 1st through 5th from lap 1 through 58. :) Shame, I love this track.

Well, coulda been a whole lot better. Tire pressures were very low for this one which could explain the sluggish feel I had early in the first stint. Why I didn't catch this earlier this weekend, I have no clue.

As it progressed and came to the first stops, I was running comparable times to Tristan as the pressures built up and was trimming the lead little by little, down to around 7 seconds.

After I came out of the pits from the first stop, Tristan zoomed by and was heading down into T1. "Perfect!" I thought because all I had to do was go straight and try to meet him in the right hander. Little did I know that I reversed the tire selection that I wanted and instead of having hards on front and softs on rear, it was the other way around which made the car EXTREMELY loose. So as I chased him into T2, coming out, I just looped the fucker around. Perfect opportunity to gain a ton of ground on him and I screwed it up. Figures :)

All that ruined my 2nd stint and made me almost a second a lap slower than what I was able to do before. A ton of ground was lost and was never able to gain much back from it. Oh well, lessons learned...hopefully.

Considering my lack of prep for this event I am very pleased with the entire event.

Qualified 3rd somehow, and the car felt pretty good.

Lap 1 Barry behind me made a mistake giving me some breathing room. I was running what I thought was a great pace for me but as we closed in on the stop Barry was closing the gap to me.

I pitted and went in very slow not knowing for sure where the pit line was. I was already in my stall when Barry went passed and pitted ahead of me. Then as my crew finished servicing my car and I started rolling I saw Barry start rooling too. We were basically going to be neck and neck once we were both on the limiter but then Barry suddenly lurched ahead. I was already on the limiter so I knew he was looking at a penalty, sure enough the end of that lap Barry dove into the pits again.

This gave me a much needed breathing space allowing me to concentrate on my driving. The rest of the race was pretty boring but I drove pretty decently and was always able to manage the gap behind me.

Hey guys. Was great racing with you... well, for 17 laps.
I had almost no practice in these cars, aside from about an hour that i did after i signed up for the race. I was happy with my times given the lack of practice that i had, but i just couldnt go any faster :) My buddies wedding was the culprit for my lack of practice.

I made contact with someone, Johnstone i think it was, around lap 6 or 7 going into the 2nd gear left at about mid track (not sure of the turn number.) And for that im sorry. I thought i was visible enough, but i guess not. It didnt appear to mess up his race though. So no harm no foul right? ;)

About 3 laps later i found my left rear wheel in the grass in the braking zone going into the hairpin (again, dont know the corner number) and that threw me into the wall. Just a bad stroke of luck i guess. So i went to the pits, got my new front airdam, repaired damage, blah blah blah, and settled in to last place just wanting to finish the race.

Unfortunately, there was a pressing matter that i had to attend to regarding said wedding and i had to retire from the race early. Maybe next time i will be a bit more competative.
