once more, i raced for 5 min. or so, i had forgotten that my MSN was on, and somebody sent me a message, which took me out of the game and into my desktop , and by the time i realized what was happening, i heard myself crash.... end of story:(
I think i'm going to make a checklist of things to check before race, like a pilot or something like that???

Grats to Alex and George for rounding out the Podium.

First and foremost, Thanks to iDT for this great Mod, Aero-Push or not, this series and this Mod promotes the very best out of its racers and today was no exception.

After struggling to find consistency with speed I gave up on the lap time and dialed in understeer to compensate for the unforgiving curbs. This worked out to my benefit and as a last minute change I was happy with it.

The start went off as usual as my teammate lead the LMTC stable in charge of George, then after a few laps the unthinkable happened, George lost parts in the corner of champions, by god this guy is human after all, I followed steve who now took over P1 for 23 laps with a 7-second gap when his disco (I believe) handed me the lead, I pushed as hard as I could and built up a 16 second lead over Alex only to loop it in the corner of champions, I managed to keep a hold of P1 and continue working my way thru traffic as it arose. Alex did a great job at keeping me honest as there was going to be no gimmie's today.

Sometimes its better to be lucky than good, today was that day for the LMTC Motorsports team, although we had a sprinkle of bad in the mix.

Whats up with that?

Great racing all. I had problems only caused by myself. I spun in the corner of Champions and thought I was gonna keep it outta the wall but caught the wall kinda hard and knocked the front wing off. Putted around the track back to the pits and sat there for 54 secs for repair. Came out in 15th and just tried to see if I could get back up to the front.

Backmarkers werent backmarkers for me today. I had to race them all for position and you guys raced nice and tough!

Barrett was prolly the toughest. You ran hard and clean. Very good defensive driving. I think you moved just a bit late though when i got along side and we touched and I let off. other than that I was very impressed! you seemed rock solid with me all over your rear :-)

Anyway overall other than my mistakes it was a good race.

With the FabCar race Sunday, this one Saturday and also taking the opportunity of a familiar track to do some preliminary testing in the F1s, i got a lot of laps in at Montreal this week.

And lessons learned from last week and a few tweaks left me with total confidence in the car. Unlike last week, I knew it wasn't going to bite me if i pushed it just a bit too much.

Made for a very enjoyable race.

Had great fun trying ways to fend off George in three separate encounters. Knew that was a hopeless situation, but i wanted to make him work for the pass and it was great experience.

George, the mirrors being what they are, i didn't know you were that close coming thru that last turn before the hairpin, or i would have been a bit more obvious. My intention was to come out of that corner on a straight line for the hairpin making a very shallow entry. It was a little late before i realized you were still going to get inside. By the time i did we'd touched slightly, although i never felt it, and then i actually thought i'd left you more room in the turn than what was there in reality.

George got by with a nice run down the straight that gave him the edge from the outside into the last chicane. Omar came out of the pits between us, and after i botched a couple opportunities to get by, i realized that he and my brother were battling for position, and more importantly, i wasn't sure i had enough fuel to finish. So i backed off and let Mike by to chase Omar, while i short shifted the rest of the race.

This one was a lot of fun!

I had fun most of the time except when I spun trying to pass FZ, was hard on the brakes and we were side by side not giving any room, you could not even put a needle between our tires...lol...I had a very good set, that allowed me to be good on the straights and the curbs..I messed up in q and all the way back to the grid...16th! :S...But I was inside the top 10 a few laps later as I caught up with my teamm8 DC and Francesco and was able to pass them...They're tough to pass but I had to make some risky moves going to "Wall Of Champions" and overshoot the chicane... I would like to CONGRATULATE JEFF!!! Finally a new face in the top of the podium...Just for that you deserve a "3d Render" !!!
