First off apologies to Togla, Paublo, and Mark.

Togla, when I was heading for the next turn I heard your car but never saw you until your car come straight across my nose. You had a good angle on me and I had full steering lock and was on the brakes but contact was unavoidable, and the rest of u guys just got caught up in the mix.

Dont blame u if your pissed at me, so fire away.

After Getting punted on the first turn into the grass and getting a mysterious stop n go penalty, my fate was seal.

Running is this series is very very frustrating, just when you think your doing ok your struggling during the race. I put alot of practice in but it just doesnt pay off I guess, I dont get it.

I think I'm gonna except the fact that I cannot compete in these cars and just give up and pull out of this series.

Got 3rd in Q with still some few tenths lots on the track. But still happy with Q.

LAP1 i hit Ari when he was going out of some righthander a bit sideways, sry i could not avoid this contact, was watcing if i get drivethru written on by the Steward but it seems he saw the accident the way i did so no penalty. Then race became a bit boring with the gap to 1st and 3rd going up every lap.

But i made quite a few mistakes afterwards which made my race interesting in 2nd stint with Ari chasing me fast. Had a great last couple of laps defending my position against him. Finished just ahead of him with fuel for 5 more laps? :) Tolga seems you put ur fuel into my car. ;)

Grats Tristan for the win and Ari also great comeback from that LAP1 incident.

I spent some hours this morning honing a 550 setup; Everything I had from previous races were all setups at least 1 year old... so they were all very loose and unrefined (that's just how I rolled back then.)

I miscalculated the fuel load for stint #2 by 5 litres, so I had to short-shift and drive easy for ten laps or so to get my fuel consumption down from 3.00 to 2.60, just to make sure I had that extra lap at the end. Thankfully I got the f**k out of dodge in the first stint, and (while combined with Janko's errors) therefore I had a 30 second buffer with which to safely cruise home on for the victory.

Not a bad event for being a substitute.

Hit a lagging Tolga's ghost car in the end of lap 2 and my race was done , dropped down to 13th place but kept on pushing and finally ended up in 4th place. What a shame , put some serious effort in to the setup and practicing this time and things were looking good , i just doesn't seem to have any luck in this series :(.

Apologies to Gregg for the contact , haven't check the replay yet but to my recall it was pretty much unavoidable , although unfortunate incident.

Congratulations to Tristan , fantastic result and a job well done 8). Grts to other podium finishers too.

Well it was fun racing on this track. It was a good race, no problems just driving hard with people a few seconds on either side of me. I had a few small offs which cost me a few spots. With 15 minutes left I realized I had miscalculated my fuel and was going to be a few laps short! So pathetic....I think this is the first time in my 200+ r2p races that I have came up short on fuel, oh well. Luckily picked up a few spots at the end.
Good to see you back DPoel! I'll hang with you for a few races, I think, until you get comfortable again ;p

Grats to Podium ...

I had some intense battles from the start of this race, had a few scary moments, got spun by borut who was alot faster but couldnt find a way through, was a gentleman letting me back, thanks dude. .. after this race my neck was stiff!
Was a Good Race though!

Well done to the finishers

This was a fun race, but I really gotta prepare better for them. My pit strategy was not good, should NOT have changed tires.

Got a good start from 7th to 4th, the Janko/Ari incident almost got me into 2nd but Janko held me off. After that I ran in 3rd, Janko gapped me, but then he had an issue and I'd catch up, then he'd gap me again, he would have another issue and I'd catch up again. I was very heavy on fuel 100 litre and Janko pulled into the pits early which put me in 2nd spot.

After that I ran a very lonely race in 2nd place, and pitted the same time Tristan went in. I made a tire change and this was a big mistake, lost too many places.

Worked my way back up to Heinz in 5th, but looked down on my Motec and noticed I was at 54% engine life!! I know the Lambo will blow around 50-51%. So I backed WAY of, short shifting and throttle lifting with 10 laps left...ugh! Let everyone who caught up by me, was lucky to come away with 9th.

Not sure how I missed managed my engine life so badly, downshifts were not the problem so I'm at a loss as to what caused this (even had a tall 6th to keep out of the red). Same settings had no problems at Imola. Anyway, bad engine use and a tire change, cost me a good finish.

1 driver docked a lap for first lap punt. Please check the standings to see if this put you in a top-5 championship position as it may effect your car choice for the next race.

Pretty good qual, not that I practiced it much. But... Tristan just beat me.

In the start I got alongside Tristan but he beat me into T2. Then later on that lap contact with Janko dropped me to the back of the queue. I started fighting back which was not easy since I chose to go with a high rear wing.

After stops I got from 9th to 3rd (2nd after penalties). Not bad considering my position after lap 1 but I think I've had enough of making my way back from the rear after a lap 1 incident in a gtx race... and this time it was not my fault.
