Zhuhai 200k

I wasn't pushing it, just driving for team points, when engine blew with 10 mins left. Then, while watching the race I got disco'd. Guess it was never gonna be my day :)

I was really enjoying this one. Althought I didn't get a qualifying lap in, I had climbed to 6th overall, and then my connection with the host dropped again.

Any suggestions to a solution would be most welcome

My timer said I have 45 minutes to the race but when I tried to connect the race has already started. Was the site time changed in the last week? I was on hols so I was out of touch... Too bad, was determined to keep that 3rd place.

entered the server during qualy .. with no practice with the car .. and it was wet. Couldn't keep the car on track so I decided it was better to pray for dry race and starting from the back. I had an incident in the formation lap, G2 car in front just stopped and I clipped it, nother G2 car left the circuit and i did my drive-through which screwed my pitstops too .. as they put 100l in my final pitstop without needing the full tank.
lost another 15 seconds of so with a couple of mistakes and backmarker misunderstanding .. but other than that it was ok.
would've liked to get a podium .. but 4th is good enough

Almost the same result from the NGT race. It took awhile to get the tires to work with the track temp. Wish I had qualified better as having to drive so hard to catch up was killing my first stint. Over drove alot.

Then with needing to make 2 stops no matter what. I decided to take only 1 set of tires the whole race and do a short fuel run, on the same set, and get new tires for the last stint.

Somehow I managed to get back into 4th and actually get my lap back. Had some fun, was hard to pass some of the G3 cars as most of the places I came upon them were on parts I needed to use the whole track as she was very tight.

I got into the back of a yellow G3 not sure who it was but my apologies, I wasnt expecting the low speed and I started to spin myself and ran into the back of you. It saved me but sent you. I took a drive thru, and that put me back another 10 seconds off the lead G2 cars.

Starting from the rear to get a top finish I cant complain. Great season everyone!

Dang. I qual'd decently given my choice of tires and how out of practice I am, but when I ALT-TAB'd and tried to get back in, it was too late. :(

Last minute sign on for this event & it couldn't have gone better.Qualifying was a bit of a surprise as I guessed what setup to use & just scrapped in to take pole.From the start everything went well & slowly put a bit of a gap back to 2nd & 3rd positions.Pitstops went off without a problem & then had to do some fuel conservation for the last 10 laps as I thought I might run short---made it home with 1/2 lap fuel to spare.Was a lot of fun,congrats to Claus & the other podium finishers.

Due to late join got out on track with 3mins left, plus I had to fiddle a setup together first since I joined as a last minute inspiration.
Was just a measly second from crossing the line in qual, close but no cigar, so had to start from the back. Boy, was that messy, ppl going off left right and center on the formation lap, anyway race got underway and I slowly found out where the groove was.
Between trying to pick off the other G3 cars and avoiding recovering G2 cars trying to let them back again I did several laps, then pitted after the tyrewarning came out.
Got out again just behind Bunce so figured I would be in podium territory now, got past after some laps, then was handed the lead when Ari had to pit again in the CC.

Too bad this had to end in a disco with about 5 laps to go. :-(

After qual,and some guys missing from the field,there was a slight chance of once again making it to the podium for the season.That changed when at the last minute i discovered the race was 1.15hrs.I went against my usual strategy which should have been starting with full tank and double stinting the tyres in the last two stints.Even though tyre wear was good,i changed them on both fuel stops.
