Interesting start where some of my rear aero was removed already at
FORMATION LAP TO ROLLING START NOT STANDING START
by Mr Dwayne "Holeshot" Evans. :P Later in the race I lost some time behind same fellow in lapping situation when none of the light messages or blue flag seemed to get through. Nevertheless, OK race where my finishing position was result of pure luck and better fuel economy than Sam's.

Ahh, bad luck again, problems with spunned backmarkers hit me again (same happened on Megane race few days ago) and great battle with Joco were ended on lap 11 :(.
So, immediately pitted but someone were in my pit slot, so I turned another lap with wrecked car and then pitted.
So after 1 unplanned long pit through and long regular pit (101 seconds) + 2 laps with damaged car final 7th. position was not bad.
Congrats top 3 in both class.

p.s. lol, I beat Marko's track record for G2 class, psssst -:)

Very Intresting race, congrats to joco anf johan with race superbly. Personaly i think the 1 stopper was the strat to be on, but we learn every day. :)

Qual: I had something I had to take care of right before qual started and when I got back in qual had already started. I was just trying to lay down a time lap and stay out of the way. Ended up getting hit twice even though I was out of the way.

Race: Kinda boring but kinda fun. I had a few good laps but mostly I was alone.

Sorry to Borut Plecnik. I went into that corner too hot and tapped you. Once I saw you spin I tapped you again. I wasn't trying to hit you the second time but it looked like it help and straightened you back out.

Congrats to my teammate Michael on 5th place. Great job.

Nice race, never drove the BMW before or any G2 class car. Did a few laps and got on to pace quick. Qualify was third behind Joco and Milan. In the race they were too quick on pace so i lost a bunch of tenths per lap. I span later and lost 8 seconds there. Was pretty much alone pacing in third position..

Milan had some bad luck with backmarkers and his pit stops so I was gifted with the second place. After the pitstops it was just driving to the flag. Nice result.

Congrats to Joco and Johan for the win in their class, and of course all finishers.

The conditions were pretty real-life like so it was pretty hot. In the qualify I put med/med tires on, not being sure that's the best idea. Was pretty satisfied in the end but I felt I could go faster with softs.

The start was normal for me. I expected Milan to run away but I kept very close all the time. Had a chance to overtake him and almost succeded. So the first thrid of the race the gap didn't increase by more than 1 sec. But some of the backmarkers spinned and Milan didn't manage to avoid that. As you can see on the pic, I was pretty lucky too. Was a boring race for me after that, just had to hope I wouldn't get a disco or CTD.

Grats to Joco and Timon on the podiums.

First off I want to apologize to Martin Richard, after the stops I got a nice run onto the middle straight, Martin took the inside line, I assumed defending. So I went left and found a Elise there, looked like plenty of room between and I really didn't want to give up (dumb) so I stuck my car in there. When it happened I thought Martin moved left a little but after watching the replay I see that it was I that moved right :( I clipped Martins left rear and sent him into a slide just as we approached the brake area. Martin did a nice job to keep it off the walls. I slowed to let him back by but then saw him off track in the following right hander and I thought, well I slowed already and just got back to business. Again Martin, sorry about hitting you.

Okay for my race report. Thought I had a FabCar event today, logged on to get the pass and thought the password autonation was messed up since it said "password in 2 hrs" so I went to TeamSpeak to talk to Tim only to find my race was actually tomorrow. Tim said, "jump in the GTO event". hmmm I thought, wife is gonna be pissed that I have 2 events tomorrow and decided to go for it.

Grabbed the trusty Bi-Turbo and joined the room with 35 seconds left in qual, went to load a setup and found I didn't have one for the Bi-Turbo :( Loaded of all tracks, Anderstorp and did a half lap installation check, changed gearing, brake pressure, rear wing, and front dampers and it was now race session.

Started in the last row! Made about 4 positions lap 1 but it was sketchy being early in the morning with no warm up and the fact that I was mired in the tail end of G3. I guess around lap 7 I passed the G3 leader and was starting to get a feel for the car.

I didn't feel like I was driving very fast but I was gaining on and passing the rear of the G2 feild pretty nicely and when I caught up to 5th place I entered the pits, so did the 5th place car and when he stopped at the in line I almost collected him. Took tires and 100 liters fuel and off I went, rejoining in 9th.

Few laps later after the rest of the field completed their pit stops I found myself back in 5th right behind 4th, Martin Richard. I already explained that. Not sure how I got to 3rd maybe that was Milan's issue.

15 seconds behind 2nd place and about 10 laps to go, everytime I would make up a second on Timon I would catch a G3 car in a bad spot and give it back. Eventually I got the gap down to about 5 seconds but there just wasn't enough time left and I ducked in behind a couple G3's for the final lap.

Grats to Johan the Finn on a fine G3 win! and another Finn - Krueger on 2nd place.

It's been a while since I've raced and I wanted to ease back into it, so I picked a car I've never driven on a track I've never raced. Probably not too smart. Anyway, picked the Lotus rather randomly. It was fun to drive and I was just staying out of trouble watching everyone blast down the straights, but I somehow completely screwed up my fuel calculations and came up a few laps short (and missed the pit in when I could have grabbed a splash). I flubbed the engine buttons a bit on my pitstop, but other than that, I just had to avoid a lot of spinners, but fun nonetheless.

Interesting , although a bit lonely race with Viper , didn't prepare for this one and when i turned in few laps on practice session i noticed that with full speed laps i used too much fuel to finish on 1 stop.

Decided to try it anyway and with some serious fuel saving i managed to save 0.5 L per lap and it was starting to look possible to go with 1 stop only. Unfortunately my calculations were a bit hasty and i ended up saving way too much fuel ,had still a lap worth of fuel when the race was over :|.

Well , anyways..it was fun to try it and next time i know better :) . Got punted on my outlap and spun , that didn't help on my chase to catch Johan , who did a very solid 2nd stint. But tbh i don't think i would have catch him anyway coz the gap went so big after pitstops, well done Johan and grts for the win :). It was a good day for the Finns :D.

Solid 2nd place anyway and good points , can't be too disappointed for the result :).

Grts to Joco for the G2 win too , as well as the rest of the podium finishers . Good job Kent , nice result from the back of the pack to end up in the podium :).

edit: @ Igor: I tried to give you room since you were looking quite fast at that time , but i guess something went wrong from your side , anyways..i don't think it changed anything , so no big deal. Just try to take it a bit easier next time :).
