Congrats to podium.

This nGT season I wanted to park the Porsche and try the Ferrari, so I took the 360GTC and I have to say that tire wear was less than the RSR, at least for my driving style.

I kept my position at start, something very strange really, and was fighting in a Porsche/Ferrari group very close altogether until the car I was chasing rotated in mid turn and we had contact, I spun and went to track in last position 20 seconds behind the car in front. I catched up and was quite comfy in my driving, but when I entered pitstop lane with only 2 litres left, another 360GTC was in my pitstall and that confused me, so I passed my pitstall and had to (try) go for another lap really slow, but that wasn't enough and had to park with no fuel.

I think I'll change my pitstop strategy next time ^_^

Crash to desktop during qual after doing 59.4 on my first lap. Disco at the end of warmup. After my disco I was seeing 300ms pings to the race server while many others were under 50ms.

I was kicked from server while everyone was standing on a starting grid (2 mins countdown). I did something wrong?

Was chatting with a couple of friends and i forgot all about the race. i thought damn again NO SHOW. clicked to see my next race - was Brno - "44 minutes from now". Yuppy. Haven't laid my hands on the RSR for a long time, I said what the hell I'll give it a shot and saw i was close to Ari's time. Put some fuel and calculated the strategy. Apparently lost 15 seconds to Sammy at the pits but it was all good. After the pit George and Sammy were ahead. Was doing good times and managed to close the gap with George and that was it :)

Sammy, Tom and George offered me some nice battles. Very clean and fair.
This race made me smile today cause it was a terrible week at the office.

I was suprised to Qual 12th, I expected to be right at the back. Was pleased to get upto 7th when a Porsche and Ferrari were involved in a bitch-slapping contest up ahead. I slipped through after the Ferrari run wide and the Porsche spun out.

I tried to press ahead but in the end the Porsche caught me. He passed me but I caught him through the S bend at the end of the lap we went down to T1 neck and neck and I think I edged ahead just enough so that when I clipped his front end when I ran wide I lost it into the gravel.

Fell back to 10th and I think I was the first of the stoppers because I came out last. Didn't matter because not long after my engine went pop. I guess that running max revs and bouncing off the limiter going uphill doesn't do a lot of good to an engine.

Oh well, was fun while it lasted.

First of all sorry to Darren Seal. He went wide went off throttle, same here, but couldn't avoid him when he came back into the corner. Tapped him and he span.

For the rest, great race, very enjoyable. Thanks all! I've raced GTR2 for years, but never really done official races in it, loving it now! Last practice race last weekend I done my first ever GTR2 pitstop and was surprised that you had to switch engine off, start it, etc. Didn't have all the buttons assigned and was in pits for minutes and minutes. This race was gonna be my second pitstop. I quickly hit the keys i needed to hit, but during starting of the engine, it went wrong as I hit the throttle to early or something and the engine shut down again lol, after 3-4 times i got it going and back out!

I jumped late into the room with 6 mins to go and managed to do a reasonable time to qualify 8th. In race I had a terrible start and dropped down a bit. Later got rammed into side too, no problems, but lost some positions there too. Through the race I managed to climb up and fight for position 7. I had some great fights for position 7 with I think Claud, sorry don't remember the name exactly. Thanks!

That's ok Timon, these things happen.. However, I wasn't exactly wide or off-throttle. :)

Started in 10th but soon made it up to 7th. However this was short lived when I was hit from behind on the first lap. This caused me to spin, putting me back down to 14th.

I then spent the next 30 minutes fighting my way back up to 8th place. I soon jumped to 7th via the pit stops, but 7th place was again short lived due to an unfortunate coming together with Timon, which put me back down to 9th.

However, this turned out to be a good thing, because it allowed me to have an epic battle with Maurice Claessen. Great driving! Lap after lap I put you under pressure, but you didn't fold. In fact it was me that was making the small mistakes. These mistakes never allowed me to get close enough to make a move, that was until the last lap of the race when I managed to slip stream you coming out of the last bend. Unfortunately the start finish line appeared too soon and I had to settle for 9th.

Very nice race , qualified 2nd and had a great fight with Cristi in opening laps , good and clean all the way. Then had a chance when Cristi took a defensive line into T2 and i went around from outside , taking the inside line into T3 and took the lead there.
Fair driving by Cristi and he let me take the lead without blocking, then managed to build a small gap while Tom in 3rd place kept Cristi busy.

I was hoping to build more gap but Cristi was keeping the pressure on until he pitted halfway , i had a bit different strategy and went up to lap 20 before pitting , then took only fuel and hoped that the 12 seconds gap would be enough.

Car was slipping and sliding some , but it was drivable the last 10 laps and managed to take the win by 10 seconds margin. Was a bit risky tactic for this track but this time it worked out nicely :).

Congratulations to Cristi and George for the podiums.

Thx all for the race ,a bit thin grid again but some disconnects dropped few drivers unfortunately just before the race :(. Special thanks to those who had the decency to unregister themselves from the event before the race. Sorry you guys didn't make it , but it was a fair thing to do to let others in the waiting list to have a chance...thx .
