Not happy! After taking pole I end up with a game crash... Did manage to come back for the race but I figured I have a similar GTO race on saturday so I didn't bother to start last(I hear ppl yelling "ranker, ranker!") lol

EDIT: I see now that I wasn't fast enough for pole :P

The first lap had a few incidents but I just managed not to get involved in any of them and finished the lap in 3rd behind team mate Heinz. We were both more than happy to stay there until the end, obviously not stopping was the way to go today but we hadn't decided that until very late and weren't sure what others would be doing.
Grats to Ari on a dominant performance.

A couple 1-lap penalties issued for first lap punts that went unserved.

The Seat factory is going mad tonight, with a 2nd and 3rd place podium, Well done to Darren taking 3rd..

Respect to Pete bringing it back to 6th after a drive through!

this was a race that went completely different to how i imagined it, Thought M3's would be swallowing the Seat and the strategy. The Quali was nice after Joco got his disconect pushed me up to 4th. Got a clean and fast lap, but no faster than i could manage in free prac.

The race start was perfect, I jumped Mark and Borut by T1 and was left to watch them both spinning at T2, unlucky that happening, but that basically ensured there was no real threat from any Fast BMw's, and after Pete did the drive through it was all APR's 2nd and 3rd on the podium... a comfertable race.. awesome result, fine race! .. the skyline actually made the race kind of sexy i think.. ?

LOL! Don't know why I'm on this page but I had to laugh!!!

I decided to finally try the Bi-turbo. Surprisingly no one else picked it - ok I guess Pete would have, had he been able to.

I good a nice setup from him and got up to speed very quickly with the car. After Joco's departure and a good start (I was worried about dropping the revs so I just smoked the rears to be safe) I kept the lead and started building up a gap. The only concern was having Tom around me, a lap down but with fresh rubber and seemingly at least as quick as I was. After some hesitation I let him past and tried to keep up with him to the end.

ps. Joco, sorry, I beat your pole time on my last lap ;-)

A definite touch of Murphy's Law - what can go wrong, did go wrong!
The downhill slide started with pre-event practice, where I managed just 3 laps before Vista decided to install SP1. An hour later it still hadn't finished! When I did eventually make it back, I found all my sound settings had been changed. Gave up & went for food break.
Then, come race time I find some bright spark though it would be a wheeze to run at dusk. How can I put this politelty - FFS DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!!!
The final straw came when I got a tap on George at T2, which pushed him into Borut. Sorry about that guys. Drive through served, but I had pretty much lost interest by then and struggled like hell with the decreasing light levels and increasing headache.
Grats to team-mate Ari for the win and Heinz & Daz for great results.

Well that was exciting!
Lots of things happening on the first lap which ment my PC was going spastic and ended up with a drive thru.
Came out last chasing down the BMW's, on lap 7 after passing a few at the back and coming up to the fast left hander a couple of corner before the start finish straight a BMW dicides to join the track after spinning off just infront of me when I was was at full speed....not much to say appart from the car had no wheels and was of fire lol.
To be fair the server did tell him to park it after that, at least I'm in a BMW now!
