USA Rhez: Toban

Well a fond farewell to the Rhez'z. Congrats Matjaz and Tommy C!

Had a very suprizing qual with a 2nd place :-O

With a decent start I tried staying with Matjaz but figured out after the 1st lap that wasn't going to happen and the batlle was with Tommy. Lap 3 turn 1 and off I go but not too bad. Ended up about 2 seconds behind him. I could just creep up on him tiny by tiny until lap 16 when Tommy returned the favor by sliding off in 1. Was a bit bummed to see it though. It was looking like I was just going to catch him at the end but didn't think I had enough to get by him. Some fun times Tommy thnx

Very good race to all.Just got my comp running today.Had to send my 8800gt back to BFG for an rma.So iam stuck right now with a 6600gt lol.So no prac for me just the laps i ran today.I was hitting 1.07's really bad but not to bad for no prac and no set.But i had fun on the track.

a last minute tweak screwed my handling so bad that i lost it after the 1st lap..ah well lesson learned don't fix whats working lol.. Congrads to the podium winners and to Matjaz for the championship.

The final race with the Rhez series and damn glad I joined it. Had an absolute blast!

Had a great battle with A. Klock for 17 of 20 laps. We both got wiley once in a while, but that's expected when trying to get more out of the car than it's capable of. :D

Matjaz, grats on your Championship and a race win to boot!

I think I've fallen in love with this "candies" :D and to be able to win the championship makes them even more loveable.

My qual was as expected, maybe I was aiming for my personal best time but for some reason I just wasn't able to do it. Barry did great as well and almost took pole from me while Tommy was still warming up and was as usual very strong later in the race.

Made a good start and with Barry close on my tail I entered T1 and was immediately able to pull away. Then Tommy took 2nd but I was able to hold the gap and even increase it a bit until I came upon the traffic where I lost some time. I still had about 3 seconds of lead but with my front left tyre going away I was expecting a close finish. Then suddenly I saw Barry in 2nd place and realized Tommy must have made a mistake. I had enough gap on Barry to be able to slow it down a bit for the last few laps.

Congrats to all who made it to the finish and especially to my team mate Barry for supplying me with great setups for the whole season and to Tommy for being a tough but fair competitor.

I'll sure miss these fun cars!
