CCWS @ Longbeach

Man! What a track. I was grateful to finish, but more grateful that it was over!! Had a couple spins. Of which had damage to the front, but refused to fix it because i had people right withtin range to take over my position while fixing it. But it was good enough to stay going at a good speed. But all in all these cars are beasts at this track. Congrats to George and the podium finishers. Not an easy Race.

Stibling took me out! Just couldnt accept the F1 drivers stealing the show huh? :-)

Na, in all seriousness I looped it on my own while Jeff held a great defensive line. From there I was climbing my way back through the field and got caught up in a traffic jam in the hairpin. Mashed up the car pretty good there and after a pit for repairs I exit the pits and get the blue flag *just* as I turn into T1. I tried to give Daniel some room but tagged the outside wall which bounced me right back into Daniel. Felt like snot after that and finally tore a wheel off the car a few laps later.

Well done guys, I still had a good time for those 20 laps. Lots of fun racing with the guys I do not normally get to race.

Well,i'll take that anytime,started at the back of the grid to finish 9th.Some performance issues alright.I left the server in practice and turned some things down and also found out after the race i had replays on,now turned off.I made a couple of minor errors plus a half spin,happy enough for a snail.

Great disapointment: had a decent pace but I made a lot of unforced errors in the first 20 laps or so, pretty pathetic. Then several times my FPS stuttered to 1 to 2, in two cases so bad I crashed. When it happened a third time I decided it was going to ruin someone elses' race and retired. I sure hope I don't have this during the season opener.

I really did have a great race, just brainfaded into the tire barrier enough to end it all. I was way behind since I onviously had no seat time. Steve Smith set me up Friday night and that's what I went with. I was OK, but every now and again I'd get the ass stepping out. I got through my 1st stop OK, but had some faster cars coming through. The crippling incident happened while I was looking in my rearview to see if I was enough ahead of the car coming up behind me to make the turn, but looked into the mirror just a tad too long and missed the turn-in. Can't do that here. Got to the pits and repaired, but the motor expired shortly thereafter on my out-lap. Thanks all for the experience. Hope I didnt mess up anyone too badly.

I self-imposed a three-spins-and-you're-out rule. Now where's my whip...

George is too fast and I am too much of a timid pansy in the opening laps.

Very tough race, i was still pumping adrenaline even after an hour of the race!!!
whith that quality of field i was surprised to clinch 4th in qual, at the start, justin came too hard on gas and swing it aroud to leave me with 3rd(was a shame justin), wasn t sure if he was able to take the start, but decided to go cause of the rest of the field...
then i was very carefull with cold tires and jeff was pushing hard and when i saw he was faster, i decided to let him by cause i didn t want to risk fatal contact(i wanted to finish), then i was kind of confi as the gap with 5th was slowly increasing, then i saw Tim coming out of pits, gave me room but on cold tires, i guess he pushed too hard, contact, so i had to come in pits to repair...too bad as i was hoping to see Tim in action for the 1st time, but, hey, how can i blame the guy that help me race this great race!!! and after thinking about it, it was kind of fun to do a come back!!1 i wasn t able to regain contact with front anyway..

Qualy went terrible.

Race, started the same way, went into fuel conservation mode on the warm-up lap, not smart, and clipped the T3 wall taking on damage, Race began, and I did the same on lap 1, held on for a few more mistake free with Tim on my wing, then another small bobble on my behalf which allowed tim to get a run on me going into T6, I left him room on the inside and the next thing he was gone from my mirrors.

I had an awesome battle with Daniel, fought tooth and nail for 7 very clean laps until I managed to squeeze by in T6 of all places, kuddos Daniel, great driving.

I would like to send a round of applause to every competitor out there today for marvelous job at allowing faster traffic by!!!!

Next week it counts, I hope to see you all back there then.
