FIS [Novice]

I know that this is a novice series and a some of guys here have almost zero expierience so I think that it's important that we tell others about their mistakes during race (and I expect the same from you when it comes to mess I caused).
Today I saw a couple of guys joining track after spin-out without waiting for traffic to pass - this is really not cool. You've spinned, you lost positions and ruined your race - deal with it and don't make it harder for the guy who was not so far away behind you, ok?

If you really really can't wait 2 seconds more please don't use racing line until you reach normal speed. Do at least this.

4 laps to go and i spin and stall my engine out..was pushing way to hard to catch 3rd and ya a mistake..first DNF in R2P

My race was so bad it was fun.

Matjaz dominated. Don't think he made mistakes, maybe a few small ones but a very solid drive.

Sorry if I braked a bit more than you expected on L1 (I think it was) Bill, I saw you spin in my mirrors, sorry.
Lap 25 I had to stop at the first left hander, left it parked and running while I answered the door....dam sisters.
I made too many mistakes, too much wing and just plain to slow, but a great time, good job by back markers also.

Uh, the Qualify syndrome agaian - I managed to make only 1 lap and it was a pretty bad one. Then I decided to fill my tank to the top for the race and eventually to finish without a stop, at least 3 laps behind the leader. This plan was good for about 10 seconds after the start. I climbed to 3-rd place, but I was damn slow and damn too understeering. After all it happened - I was spinning... and again... and yet again. Finally my engine decided to give up, and left me in the sandtraps.

Just watched the replay and it's relieving to know that frustrating things happen to everyone. It's also eye opening to note that people's recollection of an incident is very different than what actually happened. Many times I've seen innocent drivers blamed for parking on the track on a blind corner when they've actually just finished spinning.

But the replay from this race had it's very funny moments. Hope Rus and Ronan don't mind me bringing them up.

Rus, watching your engine smoking as you were battling with the sand trap, then (I think it was you) trying to limp home to the pits before blowing right up in pit lane.

And then Ronan - saw him nail the wall head on, and then his engine smolder and blow up as he was typing that classic "where's f***king reverse?" chat line.

I know it's taboo to chat during the race, but boy that line was funny.

Well, I hope that's as stupid as I get for a while. :-)

Qualy:

Ok, I didn't spend much time practicing or on setup. The car was reasonably stable, but of course you couldn't just stomp on it. :-) I qualified seventh, with a bit faster time than practice. Planned to do my pit stop on L23. I ran soft tires in qualifying and planned to use mediums in the race, but apparently there are Parc-ferme rules in place for this car? I was stuck with softs for the race.

Race:

The start went well, I jumped up to fourth. Then in T2, I got a bit too close to Dennis and looped it trying to keep from punting him. From my POV I did hit him, but it didn't seem to affect him, fortunately. I had a few other offs, none of any significance until lap 8, when I went off on the last turn, hit the wall and lost my front wing. Into the pits I go, quite a few laps early.

In the pits, I think... hey I don't need everything fixed, maybe I can leave early! Into first, drop the clutch, nothing... nuts. I tried one more time and then... the dreaded yellow engine. Un-oh. Sure enough, by the time my pit stop finished, my engine was finished, too.

Fun cars, though.
