FBMW @ Birmingham

That was a pretty heartbreaking turn of events for me tonight. I was fastest after the two aliens and qualified 3rd and by halfway through the race I was about 6 seconds back from 2nd place and had a healthy lead over 4th but on lap 18/25, I think, I just shit the bed and slammed my bimmer into the wall at full bananas and ruined it. Had to limp around the circuit to get into the pits and then had a really long pit stop to fix the horrible damage. Managed to lose only one or two spots in the pits because I had been lapping people already before I crashed, but then on the exit, I was given a 10 second stop and go penalty for speeding! Yargh. That ruined my race. After the penalty was served I was in last place. I managed to scoot ahead and regain one position by races end, but Fish was flying so fast that I only had one lap left to try and rally back.

Disappointment aside, that was fun. I really want to drive more of these cars. Thanks for putting this fun run event on guys.

Yeah, thanks Conner, great time racing at btwn 9 and 10pm PST which is perfect. I was not real fast but study and with patience made the podium. WoooT!

Didn't expect much here in qually, but I had a great start and was sitting 4th, when I exited the chicane the car flipped. Don't know if I got tagged by someone or just the grip of the tires flipped me. After that is was pretty much over with a 90 + sec pit and then a drive thru for speeding.

Dennis, I was behind you a bit, very surprised to see your roll. Tire grip frm load of landing off that "jump" I'd say.

did some practice with heavy fuel loads.

that was the hardest race for me yet.these things take smooth hands, eh.
I spun on the first lap. I wasn't that suprised with the cold tires and all. after that i started getting in the zone, I was feeling comfortable too....maybe too comfortable though; half way through the race i smashed the inside wall and ripped the hole nose off my car. i figured i would just drive it as is. i think that ended up being the right call, seeing how much time everyone was losing in the pits.

I was behind Don at the time and saw you upside down DC. Haven't check out the replay yet, but here's a link to it.

Don't you have the replay saved in your rFactor game, anyways? I have never seen a setting to turn it on or off, but I just checked and it appears that every session I do gets recorded and saved in the replay fridge. I just loaded up that race and had a look. Since you're having troubles, I'll save you the effort of looking and point out that you were struck from behind by an out of control Mr. Crash. He went too wide and slid across the grass and up into your ass. An accident, I'm sure, but he did fail to take his stop and go for punting.
