Yay party time! :)

During qualifications GTR2 crashed and I was sent to desktop. Quickly loaded the game as fast as possible and was searching for the setup kinda long, took my Beemer out of the pits and I see a slower guy infront. Tried to overtake him, didn't work and lost more than a second. Still got a pole and 5 seconds after first timed lap I was sent to menu :D

I wasn't under pressure on this race, my pace was really good and had no competition so I was bored a bit but still tried to fight the track. Had a Red Bull before qual and must say my concentraiton was 3 times better than normally lol :).
Slowed down a bit too late for pit stop and thought I might get a penatly but in the end nothing happened. Had some fun passing backmarkers, must say you guys did great. As I said was pretty lonely throughout the race and won easily.

Qualified 4th then ran fairly consistently only to run out of fuel in 4th position with half a lap to go & ended up being classified 5th.

Hey Joco!! and Johan!! great job...
i wished that i could have made it less boring for you Joco!! but this morning in practice, didn't like the way the Biturbo behaved, even with a good result, about same laptime than with Bmw, didn't felt comfortable for a race, so i decided to try other cars, ended up with Bmw and worked to have a good qual, but didn't had enough time to work out the problem i had also during hotlaps, the car was pushing a lot after a few laps, i was able to fix it a bit but it was too late for race, so it became worse through the stint, that's why i wasn't able to even try to keep up with you Joco, and i also made a rookie error at the hairpin at about the 10th lap or so, reaccelerated too quickly and spun, fought to have the reverse in and spun me again in the barrier while i was hearing cars passing by :(...
but i found out i like this car and sure be going to work to solve that problem and...i'll be back!!!
And Steeve, that explains why you literally gave me the spot, i couldn't figure it out why it was so easy, well, i learned that lesson once, never ran out of fuel after :)

Daniel,how many pistops did you make,or was it that I just was pushing to hard to keep in front of you that my fuel consumption went to poo?

I started on a full tank & filled the tank when I did my stop,anyone help me here as I'm new to this sim.

Thanks guys! This was my first online race and I must say it was great! I qualified about how I though I would (especially in a Mosler), but I was able to hold my own during the race. I didn't realize how fast the formation lap at the beginning was going to be, so I'll be prepared for next time.

I tried to make it easy for the leaders to pass me after the pit stops. You guys are really quick, I hope to achieve your speeds someday.

Ugh... like Joco, the game crashed for me during qual, but I could not get everything running again before the race session. Would've been my first online GTR2 race, so I was really looking forward to it.

I,too, had GTR crash during qualifying. Got back om just in time to start at the back of the pack. Car in front of me fell pretty well back during form lap,so we were well behind at the start. I was gaining steadily on the first lap...and then lost connection! Hope it was a good race for the rest of you.

So that makes 4 of us. Unusual... Probably a server fart.

I did 1 stop only, not sure why you didn't had enough fuel, the only thing you have to remember is, that's a 2x fuel consumption race we had, but it show it in the garage page when your in the race server, if you make your set-up offline, you will be surprise to have half the fuel, but in that case, you would have had only half the laps of fuel...weird???? like the others say, well another bug with GTR2, probably, just remember in the warm up to always check if you have enough fuel and even there, don'T be shy to put some extra liter in case the calculation is off a bit, saw that before...
