GTPC: Buenos Aires

Had a bad migrane all afternoon, I'd hoped I would be OK to race. After half an hour, though, it became painfully obvious I wouldn't! Damn, I hate to DNF :(

With Tim on the road to Colorado, not sure when the results will be posted. Perhaps this evening (USA). Unless Todd can post them.

fun race at the end!!! i had a fully fueled car with hards all over, and with that, i couldn't hold the pace with Johan :( but i came back to life after my late stop and put less fuel with meds all over and saw that i was able to come back behind Roman(3rd) so i pushed really hard with a deficit of 15 sec, and in the final corner final lap, i saw him go wide and i thought i could overtake in acceleration but i screwed up my apex and that was it... but all in all, it was a fun race, even if i didn't like it from the start!!!

Grats Cristi and Charles for their race victories as well as all who started. Very sorry to see just half of the grid to start. All you no-shows shame on you. Nevertheless, grats all.

Shame indeed about the small field. If you saw the pre-race thread, though, at least 4 or 5 people were forced to miss this because of the schedule change. I would have loved to take part...

Grats Cristi and Charles for their race victories as well as all who started.In the start of the race i woon a pole position in quali i was very happy.In the first half of the race was evry thing ok but i forgot to open radiator and my engine was overhiting and i must slow down so i cant fight no more to the first place.Im wery hapy with the second place and i hope to grate battle in the finish race in 14 days.

Good race for me. I started practicing today, not knowing the track and tested a few cars. Managed to put together a stable setup and even run some laps in the rain to see how it handles. I was a bit tired but was able to focus on the race, managed though to exit on the grass twice, but got back quickly. Some minor problems with traffic but no biggy.
In the end a sweet 1st victory on Race2Play, but every muscle on my body hurts.
Congrats Charles for putting together GTPC series, it's really great to run on other tracks, and the company is fair.

My race was shorter than I had planned!

Expected to run around all afternoon alone, but the first stint turned out to be a great race with Tom Rue. We stayed about a second or so apart for the entire first stint, until I made an error just before he pitted. It helped my concentration having someone to focus on ahead. I made what appeared to be a great pit stop and came out 26 seconds ahead of Tom and I couldn't figure out what happened until I was notified I needed fuel again only a few laps later. It seems the game skipped my first stop instructions and used the second stop I had programmed for a splash in case I missed the fuel calculations. I've had this happen before, but not sure what I'm doing wrong. Regardless had a fun afternoon. Congrats to the guys up front.

This event was a blast, but since it was such a tough track in general, I was a tad surprised that any time I got anywhere near an ngt or car a lap down... Every single person pulled over and handed the optimal line (on a silver plater).

I also have to say that I was disappointed to see that most of the guys up front elected to not perform any brain fade/driver fatigue erros all race. I swear I got major fatigue trying to figure out why everyone was not experiencing brain fade. I did a spectacular demonstration of brain fade when I got up after race and walked into sliding glass door out to patio (oh yeah the blinds were closed too so it was definitely operator error) .
