USA WTC: Vara #2

Congrats to the top and all finishers.

Wow I was in the middle of a lot of trouble this race.

I don't think I punted anyone so no apologies but I did make alot of contact.

Well one apology to Monahan and the bmw in front of him who almost spun after I hit Monahan who had to slow dramatically for the bmws trying to decide who would have the spot.

Then I put it in the wall at the start of lap2 and it was clean from then on.

Embarrasing and dissapointing evening for me. It will make for great screenshots but man what an ugly race! Now I see why Macau was left off the list.

Terrible race at the end...Was being chased by chevy and tried to brake a little late and found the barrier....Total damage to the engine...lol...

This race was barftastic.

Pretty much everywhere I where I went, I would somehow slam into a wall of cars trying dislodge themselves from the tire barriers. No luck at all in this one. Kinda surprised I didn't finish last...

Dreadful track for this kind of racing if you're stuck mid pack.

Made contact with a wall and had damage the whole race. Think i might half thrown Garret's line off by drifting into his. I saw him half spin with a bunch of cars behind him. Sorry to all of you if it was my fault. After that car was junk and struggled just to keep it going. Vibrations the whole time. Glad to make it to the end though. 7th is much better than i deserved for that one.

started in the back b/c off my stupidity during the first race. got a good start once again and moved up like 4-5 places right off the bat. navigated T1-4 will no trouble this time. some people made mistakes and i found myself in 13th by the end of lap 1. unfortunately, i was spun on the second to last turn right in front of pit entry and i fell back to 20th. with only 5 laps to do anything, i raced hard with nothing to lose and fought up to 10th. i had mr. ansoon closing little by little towards the end and on the last lap, i gave a little too much gas coming out of one of the 90 degree turns and i drifted back and forth trying to correct. i lost all speed and i let him by. finished 11th. i cant really complain, but i could have had a good result, which is disappointing, but meh, its just a game right. see you all soon.

Conor said he was surprised he didn't finished last. Well, none of you guys will have to worry about bringing up the rear as long as I'm around. With both our splitters gone, I tried to give some other BMW -- it turned out to be Bob Fay -- a run for his money, but I still have too many weaknesses in my driving. In the end, I thought I might have punted Bob but I'm glad the replay shows I may have made him go faster :) As a newbie, my goals are simple: drive clean and not get lapped.
