G3 fun-run

Congrats everyone! I'd like to apologize for my crappy driving. I was all over the place! After the race I realized why: I forgot to plug the power into my wheel!!! The whole time I couldn't quite figure out why my car handled like crap! Oh well, I'll never make that mistake again.

Thanks brother, you had a good clean race. I was faster than you but one mistake and one lapse of concentration cost me the lead in the head to head brotherly showdown. If I hadn't had those two spins, I daresay I may have been able to rally for the top 5. Anyways, it was a blast, and I am surprised at how uneventful the first run at the corkscrew was with all that first lap traffic. At least, from my end. I'll have to watch the replay and see how things went further back. ;)

I dropped a lot of positions right from the start because last race I got punted and it totally ruined my whole race having to pit immediately so I just wanted to get through the first lap and get some space to drive and then after that I was cutting pretty consistent laps on hard tires.

I sure noticed them wearing out toward the end though, yuck.

Not a bad race. I figured for the fun race I would just set my car up for the distance and keep it stable, and in that end it worked well. Had a decent pace, behind most, but steady. The first lap however was the only problem. Right from the start, the car in front if me failed to go at the green, and I was then hit in the rear by one of the only other BMW's in the race. Then from there, on turn four someone cut in low and smashed into my side, damaging my suspension. A good 1:01 in the pit and i was out, but I managed to finish the race and had a great time. It was a fun race, and I was able to finish it so overall it was success.

Not a great day. The car in front of me didn't go at the green and I had to swerve into the wall and damaged some stuff. Then a couple of laps into it, someone pulled back onto to track after spinning and I spun into a barrier getting out of the way. Suspension was hit badly enough that I had to pit and withdraw. Fun while it lasted.

My first time ever to finish a race. it went pretty smooth and since i am basically a N00b in sim racing i blamed my result on a unneeded pitstop. Bob Zolto i believe i gave you a bit of a shuff in qually and would like to apologies for that, i blame a nervous foot on the pedal there. Sorry about that. Congrats to the top runners.

I was a bit pissed from the start having trouble getting the car onto the track (computer trouble). Just barely made the race with just 5 seconds left on Qualifing lol. That meant I was last in the pack. Strange how no one is behind you once the race starts. Makes for less stress. Once the race started, my heavy foot got the better of me and I was black flagged so instead of racing the first lap, I let the pack by and slowely but surely got into the pits taking my time, an inch from pressing Esc. Anyways, I hung in there and finished the race.
