Got knocked off :(

Apologies to Pete Bunce at the finish line. AI took over my car (I was a lap down) and it threw my car sideways right in front of you. I was a spectator at that point... saw you had contact. Hope you weren't still on another race lap. If so, I hope any damage didn't affect your finish. Also, to whoever was in the Abarth that passed me after contact with Pete... sorry the AI was riding your bumper... again, hope you weren't still on a race lap.

On that note... is it preferred that we turn off AI control in our PLR to avoid such mishaps?

Oh... and I should have re-read the series rules. This was my first TC65 after doing just GTC. I pitted for tires as is standard in that class. Noticed no one else did. Oops. Not like it mattered. I was the slowest car out there today.

All in all i think i did a good job keeping up with Joco and Enis and their Falcons.
Congrats to both of them.
My Cortina did well and i'm quite happy with 3rd place.

Quali:
It was good, only though I was 0.2 up in second sector and had great exit onto the main straight only to find out that I'm outta fuel. Bummer.

Race:
Got of to a better start then Joco, took 1st place. Neck to neck with Joco for 18 laps, then I made a small mistake exiting uphill chicane, went into a drift, and it was enough fot Joco to pass. I tried to pass him on the straight, didn't work out, and that was it. I settled with 2nd, and after the GTC race I sure hope I won this one. :(

Great race!

Qualified 1st but started worse than Enis who overtook me. Thank we were not split up for more than 1.5 a second for the whole 18 laps. I finnaly killed a few of his nervers and he made a mistake. I overtook him but it was very very close and risky, I'm glad it was clean.

More races like this!

Made up couple places on the start, passed Roberto's poor little Mini like it was standing still.

Settled in behind Milan and Johan. For the first 10 laps, they had a intense battle going. I had a first row view of the action. Milan had the top speed going down the front straight, but Johan would close right up on his tail pipe through the twisties.

About lap 10 or so, Johan got a little slow coming off the last corner, and I got a nice draft off his little Alfa, and stuck to the inside in turn 1. I couldn't see his Alfa, but I could just barely hear it over the roar from my engine. But bonehead me, on the next lap, went a little wide into the dirty stuff in turn 1, and Johan got back around.

Hung back and watched Johan and Milan go at it some more, until Finn got loose in the last turn. Don't know what happened there, but it was enough for me sneak by. With about 5 or so laps left, Finn then started closing the gap back up as my tyres started melting.

Last corner, Finn on my tailpipe, I messed up the entry to the last corner a bit. Started drifting ... almost lost it into the gravel, but breathed the throttle enough, and came out the corner side by side with the Alfa. Thanks to good ol' American Horsepower again, beat Johan to the finish line. :)

I had good battle with Johan but my powerful Mustang dominates at the straights and Johan try everything but couldnt pass me.
