This was originally posted as a race comment but figured this would be a better place for this question. Want to make a comment about accidentally hitting ESC while in race... Why in the world don't they at least put a confirming OK/Cancel in there so you can cancel out and not blow your race. Am I the only one who has ever accidentally ESC'ed out of an event? I couldn't figure out how to deal with the pit board anyway, shades of my 1st races at TMcArthur.net with GTR. lol Dan |

For me in EVO you have to hold the esc button for 1 second or more to escape. Simply tapping or bumping the escape button gives me a message at the top saying something like "hold button for more than 1 second to esc" |

To escape, RACE/EVO require you to hold the ESC key down for 1 second before you escape. If you escaped, you held the key down at least that long. |

I did that to by accident a couple times hitting the [ESC]. I fixed that. I put a small note book over top of that section of the keyboard so I don't hit that damn key. |

Thanks Mike, yes, I saw that too. But with my failing, age related ability to comprehend the english language, I never figured out what it meant! lol Guess I fell asleep with my finger on the ESC key during the race and got the boot! : ( Well, that does address my original worry about accidentally hitting ESC. Now, I just have to figure the rest of GTR Evo's quirks. Dan |
