Prepaid via Steam, GTR Evo is sitting in my Steam game list with a status of "Not Yet released". So I double check and sure enough Steam shows release date as today Sept 1st.

So what the heck is going on with this Race07 add-on?

I haven't received any activation codes, nothing. Seems odd since this game has been released ... hopefully they aren't wasting time in American voice overs cause I really don't care if they speak to me in Dutch -- speed is a universal language :)

Anyone else able to get their prepaid download from Steam?

A big no.

There was a countdown timer and it should have been released 12 AM West Coast time. Now the timer isn't there any more and people are getting pissed @ the Steam forum.

Yeah, just checked the Steam forums. Sometime today according to the moderator...hmmmm...

On a side note, Race07 seems to have been updated...pit menu...

Nothing as of 12:40 pm here. I heard a rumor that the release will happen around 10:00am Pasific time.

I have no clue how the Steam servers work, but I doubt GTR is a big enough release to clog their system. How many millions of people bought games like HL2? Admittedly, they preloaded the game, but I doubt it will over stress their servers.

As for it not being released yet...ridiculous, especially as this is a holiday in the US so people are home. Really pissing me off - imagine the European customers, Sept 1 is just about over.
