I'm convinced, it feels great to me. Here's my final schedule proposal:

Oct 5 - Mobil 1 12hrs of Sebring
Oct 19 - Honda Grand Prix of St Petersburg
Oct 26 - Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach
Nov 2 - Sahlens Six Hours of the Glen Weekend
Nov 9 - Trenton Forging Quality Formed Solutions Mid Ohio
Nov 22 - Generac 500 at Road America
Dec 7 - Grand Prix of Mosport
Dec 14 - Monterey Sports Car Championships at Laguna Seca

The Glen is in, due to a lack of a suitable Road Atlanta or Infineon (there's a good Infineon coming soon, though, maybe next season).

All races to be 50 minutes long, standing start, 2x fuel.

At first I was hot on mixing up the cars every race, but now I'm wavering- we've mixed up the cars every NASRL season for a long time. NAGT has a weight penalty system built in, I'm inclined to give it a try. I still don't want duplicate cars, however, so we have to figure out a fair system for car selection- and whatever you pick, you're in it for the season. I'm considering using R2P rolling rank to determine the selection order.

Thoughts?

I'm in. I'd like to see the weight system work so I can pick a horse and run with it. That way, it can be well developed by the end of the season. I am putting in a strong request for the Randy Pobst K-Pax GT3. You gotta let me drive a GT3!

It looks like the Volvo's and Caddy's are going to be popular.

Sounds good to me - I have dabbled with the mod and it seems to be fun. I am putting in an early request for a Mustang since I drive one in real life.....

Personally, I'm hoping for a Vette.

Rolling rank should work, even though they may vary drastically from week to week. I suspect it will be an inverted draft order, correct?

Hope I can race with you guys some, but the 9:30est start time can be a pain to make sometimes.

I assume the car picks will happen once (hence the interest in picking a car for the whole season). So whatever the rolling rank is at that time is the only one that matters. From there on out the weight penalty will (hopefully) balance the competition.

I think we should have a car selection thread on a certian date and time and the first person to post the car they want gets that car. It'll be easy to track the car;s taken then
