So, let me get this straight....I can buy GTR Evolution from best buy/game stop/target/ etc for $20, but, if I want to d/l it from STEAM it is $36 (assuming I do not own Race 07)? I love Steam and the way it makes games available for everyone. I won't go on and on, but I am a huge fan. That being said, it is undoubtedly a less expensive way for games to be distributed. How is it possible for game makers to charge MORE for the clearly less expensive method of me downloading it? I wish I could boycott them, but my stance will not prove anything... Before today I was a big Steam fan - now, FU |

amazon wants $38 for both... $20 is for the expansion not the full game so im guessing, probably $50 for the full EVO like just about every other game on the market. |

After tax it's cheaper for me locally than at Steam. I think I'll prefer a DVD version. |

I'm still skeptical about this Steam (or any download). Wasn't the whole idea of downloading it supposed to be cheaper? No packaging or media (dvd) cost. No brick and morter (retail). No added shipping cost to get it to retail. But yet, it's the same. Just doesn't make any sense to me. Greedy bastards. |

The idea of Steam is to make a profit and provide a strong copy protection. |
