It's been about a couple weeks that I've been running Th2go, I know I had lot's of questions when making the choice to do it. So I hope this will help others get an idea of what to expect.
As far as game play goes...oh my friggin' god! It took a couple hours to get used to the stretch on the side screens.but after that it rocks! even If you aren't passing anyone (not looking to the side), just the sensation of speed it gives is something else. despite my brothers good advice to just leave it and deal with the somewhat crappy graphics, I just couldn't help but think of how much graphics memory those monitors were needing....so after much thought I got a gtx260. I'm still running 3840x800, but at x16 AA, x16 AF, and almost full everything in RF, including max shadows! at the back of the pack at the start of a race I get 55fps, up to 80+ after a few turns. every thing else other than psu is stock acer. so if you got $300 for a gfx card I strongly recommend it for th2go users and those thinking about it. |

Darren, thank you for that info. I have been considering purchasing the Th2go. I need to upgrade first... |

I know, but this is it, I'm totally done for a long time now....said that before. If only hardware made me faster:) but hey, if it adds to the fun factor, them that's just as good to me. I still compare my setup to a big screen ($1200-$2000)so it's not that crazy. but yah, I have to stop here, anymore and I'm going to have to live in my cockpit to justify the spending. but it has caster wheels now, so I could commute to work in it and sell my car:) |

You have to stop trying to maintain a 4x4 truck and an expensive RC truck habit to justify it. :) |
