What automotive websites do you visit to get your daily fix? I subscribe to RSS feeds from the following: Autoweek I like this one for the race reports from the events I missed over the weekend, and occasional industry news. Jalopnik Very similar to Gizmodo but with an automotive bent. This is a very prolific site, lots of little updates throughout the day. RSS is the perfect way to get this one, get the headlines in my inbox and scan them whenever I'm ready for distraction. Bring A Trailer This one is my new favorite, every day it highlights an unusual car or two found for sale. The taste in cars is right up my alley, eclectic iron from low budget basket cases up to big budget finished beauties. I've been following this one about a month, and would have bought 3 or 4 cars by now if I had the money. Wired: Autopia Wired always has great writing, very in-depth articles no matter the topic. What are your favorites? Tell me what I'm missing :) |

RSS is basically a way of monitoring websites for updates- you use an RSS reader to subscribe to an "RSS feed", the reader will periodically check the website for updates and automatically download the content. Internet Exploder has one built in, but I like a free plugin I found for Outlook called NewsGator. I have it check my list of sites the same time as it checks my mail, so throughout the day I get little updates in my inbox, keeps me from constantly hitting the web to see if anything's new... well, except for here :) |
