It's a non-F1 weekend and I am absolutely stoked about this mod, so count me in Chuck. The note above about add-on tracks is a good point. Probably best to keep it simple and stick with a default track since we're already introducing a variable (the mod) which will surely cause a few people some issues along the way. My suggestions for race track would be Silverstone or Nurburg. Both have a nice mix of fast and slow corners and some long sections to really get up to speed. Mike also makes a good point about server. You should ask Tim about getting an R2P server for this. Not only because this mod really should be already under consideration for an official series, but also as you said, Charles, there aren't any events happening that day anyways because of the holiday weekend. |

hmmm, server? Oh Tiiiimmmm???.... I would like to see at least 7 drivers (including me) because there are 7 cars. "Winning" is not really the goal but doing well and pushing the car to your own ability is important. Just want to see how tire wear/temperatures play out. I'd rather stick to an rFactor default track like Nurburgring, Silverstone, Montreal or Barcelona. Add-ons are always on the horizon assuming we get this series. There will be a 1MB "compatability" patch available so that the results import properly into the R2P system. (Thankfully, it is not as complicated as the Historix mod.) This is also another reason for the test run- to get real people on the results export in different cars. |

Set a definite time and track and I will confirm. Barcelona would actually be cool. Since we dropped it from the F1 schedule, I haven't run it in a while. |

I would be game - BUT - although I have RFactor (and up to date at that) I've never actually driven with it. I always come up against a steering wheel in game st up screen that is - frustrating shall I say.

I might be able to show up and help out with the testing. Not a guarantee though. |
