Chevrolet Announces Entrance to Formula 1 US car giant GM has thrown it's hat into the F1 ring. Entering under the name of it's flagship brand Chevrolet in partnership with European based Rock n' Roll racing. Following the announcement on Tuesday afternoon at the Fuji International Circuit in Japan; the first of the new cars was unveiled. Unfortunately the news that Rock n'Roll racing's lead driver Steve Wood would be going on sebatical effective immediately places the new outfit into an immediate dilemma. Sole driver, and F1 rookie Jon Weal will compete at this weekend's Japanese GP as a lone entry. It is hoped that in the comming weeks RRR will be able to find a second driver to fill in Wood's shoes. A spokesman for the team has announced that Chevrolet and RRR would be on the lookout for a new driver and that any potential drivers are encouraged to approach the Team's management. Awesome Jon! Looks even better than most real life F1 cars. Honda could use your talents. Sorry to hear that Mr. Wood has withdrawn. I heard through the grapevine, that he's defected to a Corvette team and is looking for some wrench turning monkeys! Maybe since he lives just a few miles away from me, I could take him out to the local pub, juice him up, and get down to the truth! Wish I could get my rFactor to run right, or I would apply for the job. Dying to try the F1 cars and so far, yours looks the best! Good job. |

Wow lovely paint job! You scared me for a while, i actually thought Chevrolet was entering F1 for real lol. Keep it up mate, i definitely agree that Honda need your help! |

Id love to see chevy get into F1, as much as i loved it when Toyota joined NAZCAR, not that i watch nascar, i just like to see the pot getting stirred up, in my time i may have even stirred it once or twice hah nice paint btw |

Car looks great but I'm even more impressed that Chevy was able to make a pushrod V-8 turn 20,000 rpms :D. |
