I am, well, lets say pissed. I notice that there were 4 of us waiting to race the BMW Challenge [USA] and only 18 showed. I looked about a 1/2 hour before the race and my status was still waiting.. I was at another Race League's forum and came across one very interesting rule. The rule was if you register for a race and you don't show, you were suspended to race in the next event. I think this is something to consider. Just to say I was practicing using AI offline for a few days and hoping to get in. I really like the cars and I could handle them fairly well. I know I couldn't win but that isn't the point. |

Suspension may be a little harsh. Most of us (not me) have other things going on in life and sometimes we are unable to unregister from an event due to jobs, wifes, commutes, etc. However, the people who regularly no-show *are* held accountable. Any more then 1 no-show per week and those drivers are moved to the bottom of any waiting lists, and all other drivers moved up the list. This has been in place for many months now. Of course, you could avoid the waiting list all together (I know you have already done this Doug, and in your case just toss me an PM or pop on Teamspeak. I always leave extra room for the stray Standard/Premium member to get in the server) |

if you are going to not show then unregister. Also a good reason to pay for a membership. You move ahead of none paying members on sign ups |
