As discussed in another thread, this rFactor mod is now good to use without any "legal" or "permission" issues. I have verified this with one of the mod creators (who also happens to be one of R2P's members) and with the owner of 2 leagues (also an R2P member) that have been using this mod for quite some time. Full support by those two individuals has been given to bring this mod here. Série Internationale Du Mans mod download (222mb) I highly recommend skimming over the wonderfully written, comprehensive readme, which includes an overview and setup guide. I would like to see a group of drivers to help bring this mod onboard. The first step is to run a few quick proving runs and check results "importability". Unlike the LMPC mod, this is much simpler. :) Please drop me a line and/or post here. Thanks. (The current season, using the LMPC mod, will continue as scheduled. The rFactor mod will not replace the current mod.) |

If this mode proves well, will it replace the LMPC in later seasons Chaz? I'd be willing to try it. Not crazy about rfactor, but continue to search for that elusive mod that will convince me to keep rfactor installed. |

I don't want to get ahead of myself nor mislead anyone at this point, but the first goal is verify functionality (essentially already verified by it's reputation at other leagues) and the how the results/cars are imported into the R2P system. (Running a few races and supplying the info to R2P). How that goes will affect when and how the mod will be implemented. (i.e. the Historix GT mod unfortunately has this problem.) I will get a server up once enough people have the mod. I want to re-emphasize that the current LMPC series will see thru the end of the season with the current mod. I'm with ya Aaron on rFactor, but this mod has convinced me otherwise. Just need to get the bandwagon filled up! |

i have this mod already and the cars look AWESOME! for some reason im leaning to like rF better than gtr2, never thought i would say that, this mod is one reason though. if you need someone to test gravel pits and the effect of cars hitting the walls let me know lol but really if you just need bodies to test stuff im game any chances of doing the full mod? |

I think I tried this (or previous version) of this rFactor mod together with 28cdm guys and I must say it's made better than GTR2 mod. I will try it out of course but if it's what I think it is I'd recommend it warmly. |

Full support as in...support for the full mod or just the LMPs? Looks interesting. Would like to help out but that all depends on the time and day of the testing :) |
