With the recent Race '07 patch fixing proper pitstops and the impending release of the GTR Evolution expansion pack Race2Play is going to be scheduling Race '07 events once again. So I reinstalled Race '07 on my system once again. As I was going through the update log from Steam I noticed SimBin recently released a free addon for Race '07: the Andy Priaulx Crowne Plaza Raceway, complete with a new car (or two ... I'm not rightly sure). The raceway is described as a fictional island course winding past palm trees and luxury hotels. Since it didn't appear to be added to my installation automatically by Steam, I followed the links to click "install". The popup indicated something like "Race '07 demo version blah blah blah ..." and a download size of 500-something MB, which seemed kinda hefty for a track and car. I canceled out. Has anyone installed this and tried it? It's not installing the demo version of Race '07 alongside my fully licensed version is it? And what do you think of the track and car? |

Yah, saw that as well Todd a while back. Unfortunately, it seems that, like you said, it installs the demo rather than just adding the track and skins to the full version. A bit disappointing as I don't really care enough to install the demo and set it up to try the track. Hopefully they fix this problem, or decide to include it with the GTR Evolution expansion. |

Actually, for some inconceivable reason, the addon is only available for the demo and not the full version. I beleive it contains the track and the BTCC Vauxhall Vectra '08. |

Hope things get better with GTR-evo. I have all my trust in the other, Blimey! tho. |

It just doesn't make any sense for them to do it like that. Why not just add it as a regular update so everyone has it. Seems silly to me. |
