Sure, if you want to ceremoniously burn one, go right ahead.

Tim and I knew all along that we would eventually move to a different mod. In bringing in a car with more performance, I am a bit concerned because of who it will attract. Maintaining the principles of the GDC is paramount to me. Fun, no points, no one leads for more than 2 laps, wreck them/wait for them. But I also want to give new folks a stepping stone in to the higher level series. The GP2 cars should do that as things will happen A LOT faster.

The focus will still be on fun and building relationships.

I am downloading the mod now. Should I download the sound patch and gentlemens physics patch also?

You may DL the sound patch, your choice. It should not matter as far as competition goes.

The gentlemen physics are a bit too easy. You can load up the other version with DF and have a pretty good platform.

JUST REMEMBER - NEXT MONDAY will be the first night for GP2.

Just download the mod the way it is and you will be fine. Tim should have it up on R2P to DL before to long as well.

Spread the word in your other R2P ventures. Just make sure you invite like minded folks. Superstars are welcome so long as they understand what we are about here.

Oh, and the vintage Jordan scheme is mine all mine mine mine mine..I tell ya.....mine mine mine mine.

Oh nooooooooooooo...

I love this mod and was hoping it would be used for S9.
Well here it is and I can't race b'cuzz it's 2.5 hours before I can get home from work! : (

I'm sure you boys will have a blast with this GP2 mod.

I'll just have to be satisfied racing against the A1.

This is the place for me, just not the right time...
- You have no or inadequate skill.
- You have no time to practice for a serious league.
- You have grown way past tired of the term "Noob".

That's me for sure! lol

I may just leave work early one day and join you boys for some fun. Just ask Jonty about me if I need a character witness. hehe

(Sigh) It is really hard to find a time that works for everyone. Lord knows I have tried. I sincerely hope that you have a chance to race with the rest of the folks here at the GDC because it is them, not me, who make it great.
