Hey guys, does anyone have relatively accurate numbers to show the ideal grip range for the tires in this mod by temperature? I am assuming ideal is somewhere between 90-100C, but I haven't actually seen any documentation and would like to know how much spread there is before grip starts to get reduced (even at a point you don't really feel yet). |

I notice grip falls off dramatically as soon as the temps are past 205-210* F. |

Who can keep tires below 99°C (210° of that silly imperial measurement unit)? |

Yeah, I often run in the high 90s mostly. And it's not at all unusual that my rear tires are 101-103C if I'm really moving. Once I have a spin, of course, they jump to 110C and then the grip is hideous. NO MORE SPIN |

What? Mine are never below 110*C, as Enis implied. |

I go out of my way to keep my tires at the 190-205 F range. It is not easy and at some tracks it is impossible (Barcelona and the left-front). Silverstone is another track... very easy to cook the tires. But if you can control yourself from doing that there is more speed and tire life there. |

I find that range is the sweet spot for me also, Tim. Maybe it's a compound difference that sees you with such higher temps Scott? I am running hards currently. |

I run hards most of the time. I don't have a problem controlling the tyres at those temps, and they don't wear out any quicker than anyone elses seem to so its not a problem, just interesting. |
