Dan and I did a small race at Richmond International Raceway (TPSCC Blue Ridge) and had a pretty good race of it. Does anyone have a problem with adding an oval to the series? Good or bad idea?

Absolutely super idea. That's my vote anyway, humbly of course.

After some testing and whatnot, I do believe that we will run Blue Ridge as a night race for our season final.

Proally about 100 laps with 2x wear. I have tuned in a setup that the cars do feel pretty stable, however there is no way to get around the RF wear other than make the car so wickedly loose it spins on exit of turn 2.

Will talk to Tim and run some more testing before we get to this point.

excellent idea, night race at Blue Ridge-- but why the 2X tire wear? I am not a huge fan of accelerated tire wear and I was just curious as to the reason behind. Of course, I would not give up the chance of a night oval race with these ow!! just wondering about the 2x, that's all :)

You can get around 100 laps on normal wear, I thought it would be interesting with varying wear on the tires, pit strategy, etc.

I figured it would be a good way to cap off the season by mixing it up with quite a few things going on at once.

Is this race going to be added to the end of the season? Right now it still shows Surfers as the last race.
