With Season 8 series almost fully wrapped up I have said down and tried to figure out what series I will be running in Season 8. These may change from time to time just depending on different things but so far here is my plans:

Saturdays
GT Open.
Stock Car Challenge. It looks like they are switching to ARCA.

Tuesdays
Formula T [USA] and Spec E30 [USA]

Wednesdays
Spec Rhez [USA]

Fridays
I really want to run the Shootout [USA] but I am bowling right now on fridays until mid may so I am planning on picking up the series about mid way through the season. Also after the mid way point I may try to pick up World Touring Car [USA].

Sundays
I will be practicing on sundays for the upcoming races but prob after the NASCAR races.

Wow that seems like a lot of races. Of course some of those may change just depending on what all is going on. Feel free to post your Season 8 plans if you wish but you don't have too.

This season was OK, ended up not getting to enough of the open wheel events in FT-A that I wanted, but it happens. I've done well with the Grand National Series, and will move up and do every stock car event I can on rFactor. So far I haven't ordered ARCA, I plan to within the next few months, chances are I'll get it halfway through the next season. I've been doing a lot of work to the house lately, so that is where my time and money have been going, but its getting to the point where I can come back to here.
For the next season, I'm going to try a variety as well, though probably not as many as Will:
I want to try to get into the G2 events on GTR2, haven't done much on that sim in a while, and they are on Thursday night so it works out well.
I will definitely do the Extreme GT (Novice) on Sunday, that works very well for me now.
Possibly the Fabcar Novice, again on Saturday but could work out since it is during the day.
I want to do a few races in the Historic GT league, just again since I have the game but don't use it much, could be fun, but I won't do a full season.
Randomly I will do the off road races, but the times so far aren't really set up at good times, so that will just be every now and then, plus so far i suck greatly with those trophy trucks, need to start with the buggies first.
My main event will be the stock car challenge on Sat night, that is the one I"m looking forward to, especially with the new rules changes, and I've been having fun with the COT's as well.
Those are the series I'm planning on driving, and occasionally will do others. I want to do as many stock car events as possible, that is just where I'm the happiest. I would love some more oval open wheel races as well. I plan on trying to run the Indy 500, but so far I'm not thrilled the time it is set up for, rather it not be that Sunday, but we'll see.
Real life will kick in enough times to hold me back a little, but overall I should be able to get in a decent amount of events.

That sounds good Richard.

I have made a few changes to my plans. I have drop the buggy races, the trophy truck races, and the caterham races. Mainly because I dont want to stress myself out with having two races a night.

Hello guys!

At first congrats to your excellent performance last week Richard. I think I'll have to wait long time then I get myself into top drivers movers:).
I spotted that on William's post on sunday but I had big problem with my internet connection so after week of swearing to helpline operator and beating down my keyboard and mouse, everything looks fine (at least today).
In S8 I will stay just with GTR2 sim because I've still got many things to learn and main goal is to reduce number of DNF's. I want to attend all of the extreme GT (novice) events on sundays. The rest like G2 and G3 races will depend on my time schedule but GT open on saturdays should be ok with me.I'm not sure about the rest of the week. Also I'm thinking about 3 weeks holidays on may and june so maybe I'll have a short break this time(not made a decision yet).

Although I bought Race07 this week I will not start any online event this season. (actually I bought it because there is a race version of my road car and I want to try if I will be competitive with this car on track). But I didn't have enought time to play it yet.

I hope I will not dive team rank in sports cars too much next season.
Good luck to all!

That sounds good Michael. I personally say yall do what ever races yall want to do and do not feel pressured to do certain races if you don't want to. And I would worry too much about the rankings. I do somewhat but I am here more to have fun then anything else. So for me there is no point in stressing myself out worrying about rankings. Besides I personally believe the rankings will come in due time.

What is your road car Mike? I have a 2001 Ford Focus, the silver one I put up on my driver page in front of the Golden Gate Bridge. 7 years old, 118,000 miles on it, still rides perfectly, including on round trip across the country.

Focus is a very reliable car, here in Britain you can see many and many of them. For europeans it's very exciting imagine go accross US in the car( from PA to San Francisco it's nice trip). I've got french Peugeot 407 SW which I bought last year with 5000miles on it, now slightly over 33000. It's almost 2 years old, 2.0l diesel with very good performance and fuel consumption(43mpg), right hand driver ofcourse. I think I'll never go accross US in this car:-) but I'v been with it in France, Germany and Belgium last year and this year I want to visit Italy as well. I don't know if you should know this car in US so this is the link with some picture of this car : http://desktopmachine.com/cars/4-Peugeot%20wallpapers.html?pag=0&t=219 (it's some sport model but I'v got pretty much same just without that spoiler thing on the back and side skirts, but it's in same colour as mine).
And what about you Will, have you got a car?

That is a nice car Michael. I don't think we have many Peugeot cars running around here. Atleast I haven't seen any. Oh my car. LOL. I drive a 2000 Dodge Durango with 120000+ miles on it. It is a gas eater like crazy LOL. But I only live 7 miles from work so it is not that big a deal. I am not really a car person much anymore. I have had trucks for way too long and prob always will. However I have had my eye on a nissan 350z but will prob stick with my old truck until it dies. Hell it is paid off so why not. Maybe get me a motorcycle.

I guess I'll have to get the game a little earlier. I'm hoping they still do something with the COT's for rFactor though, I really liked the rules that they had in place for the season.
