I have been meaning to do this for a while but had forgot about it until now.

Basically just introduce yourself to the team. That way we can get to know each other a little better.

I will start.

My name is William Mize. I live in Alabama. I have been sim racing off and on for about 5 years now. It all started with NR2003. I ran 2 leagues with NR2003 and then got out of sim racing for a while. I got back into sim racing when I ran across R2P right after I bought rFactor. Stock car racing is my favorite form of racing but I really enjoy all kinds of racing. I know I am not all that good at sim racing but I am learning quickly. I am comfortable being a back marker because I just really enjoy racing that much. My biggest goal with racing is to finish the race and usually with doing that you get a good finish. I am here just to have fun and get away from real life crap for awhile. Sim Racing calms my nerves a whole lot. I currently have rFactor, GTR2, and Race '07. I am really excited about ARCA SimRacing coming out and have it pre-ordered.

Hello!

My name is Michael Virt. Originally I'm from Czech republic but for last four years I live in Manchester in Great Britain.
I'm single living with my girlfriend for almost two years now.
I used to play some sim racing games but it was ages ago. So far as I can remember it was F1GP 1&2, F1 2002, I also played Nascar racing 1&2 which I think was before NR2003. I'v been really good in these games with setups and all that stuff, but I never play real sim after until now. Although I bought GTR2 almost year ago I started to play just month ago. I played online just FPshooters abd RPG's but not sim. Actually when I first log on internet with GTR I was a bit disapointed with no rules and many players which cause just mayhem and ruined game for the others. So I started looking and found some servers and decide for r2p. Like you I have no problem cruising at the end of starting grid and get best possible result. I like sim racing especially after two and half hours which I spent on overcrowded british motorways every day just to get to and from my job and where everyone drives like stupid idiot. I'v got just GTR2 but I want try rF and RACE as well when I get a little bit more time for that. I just get back from cinema now and it's almost midnight so I go to bed. What is your time against GMT in Alabama? I think that's all for now. See you soon

I am in the central time zone so that would put me about -6 hours off of GMT.

I guess I didn't even realize that we didn't do this yet:

I'm Richard Jordan, simply go by Rich. I'm 26 and live in Reading PA, which is about an hour west of Philly. I grew up in the subarbs north of Philly, and went to Penn State, so I've always been a PA native. Huge Eagles and Phillies fan, used to be Flyers but over the last two years I still haven't gotten back into it. I live in Reading with my wife of just under a year, and luckily she is a big reader, so whenever I'm on the computer she is in the bedroom reading, so it works out pretty well.
I've always been a car guy, at least since 2, and I have the matchbox cars to prove it. I build models and work on the house during my free time. I've always been into racing, really started in 91, and just about any form of racing is something I'm interested in, with the notable exceptions of motor cycles and drifting. I started racing computer games mostly with Nascar Racing 2 over 10 years ago I guess, and moved through that series of games. Didn't really play in college, nor after graduation, just occasionally for fun. Then in September of last year I finally bought a new desktop to replace the laptops I had in college, and the first game I got even before it came was GTR2. I was mostly looking for setups and came across this site, and figured I'd try it out. Was hooked soon after. I found rFactor through here, which has replaced GTR2 as my game of choice, as I'm a huge stock car fan, and love racing these things. I race when I get the time, and while its mostly for fun, my goal is usually a top 10. I'll finish up the Grand National Series this season, and work in a few ITT races, and next season probably do both full time. I am looking forward to the ARCA sim, and very curious to see how it goes. I can usually get pretty solid setups, never winners, but can keep up so let me know if you ever need help or want to share any.
