Ok I started with a TSW and used that for about 2 years. Decent first wheel. I wanted to try FF. Got a G25 thought man I will never go without FF again. About 2 months later the shine wore off FF and I turned it off. Not likeing how the G25 felt without FF I sold the G25 and the TSW. My ECCI is sitting on a UPS truck and I am waiting for the call to go pick it up. I know it isnt going to make me any faster but god they look cool. The 2 years of drooling is over.

Let me know what you think of the ECCI wheel.

Most folks I know are faster with FF OFF (or none at all). I personally prefer G25 FF even if it does slow me down a little. But turning FF support OFF does also give you a little boost in FPS.

Are you doing just the wheel or you gonna do the pedals also? I have a friend that just got the pedals and will NEVER give them up - he loves their adjustability.

He did however have to replace the Pots after only 1 year of regular use. His Pots were not fully sealed so dust gathers in them easily, hopefully they've upgraded their pots to something more worthy of the price tag.

I'm debating on what to do also.
Currently running a Momo, cheap and available,
but definitly will be failing soon, and I will need to
replace.
Not sure if I wanna do the G25 or the ECCI

I doubt I'll ever race without FFB... having breifly driven cars with power steering, I can see why the more experienced generation might feel more comfortable without it, but coming from a karting background I can't feel in control without it. But the ECCI pedals are superb, I'll never give them up, and I don't even use the adjustability, mine are pretty much as they where when they came out of the box. Not sure that makes me a fully fledged member tbh, but whatever :P

Welcome to the club Jeremy, I hope you enjoy the equipment!

Thanks guys I actually picked it up tonight The UPS driver was gonna be back late last night and I had to run the Busch race. I have a set of CST pedals that I really like so I just got the wheel. Probably wont be able to give it a good shake down until tomorrow because of this stupid fake holiday.
