As advertised, this event will be the full 1000k, which is roughly 6 hours of constant racing. This presents a unique challenge, as I have serious doubts any single person can race for 6 hours without major complications. The common driver change format that many other organizations use will not be used in this event. Here are some options:

- You may run the entire race on your own, taking breaks as needed. When taking a break, you should NOT leave your car in a pit stall, but in a garage or a "non-traffic" (not in the way of cars passing through pit lane or pitting) paddock area.

- You may find another sim-racer local to where you live and have real driver changes on the same PC. Make a weekend out of it; have a few friends over, party the night before, and take turns in the race. This will require a single setup that all drivers can handle :-)

Any Northern Californians (Bay Area/Sac, etc) thinking about entering this event and possibly meeting up for driver swaps, send me a msg.

I have gathered 3 drivers (as of 9/19) to discuss ideas/plans/strategery.

I have to put my "Endurance" nomex as I will be doing it by myself... Strategy will be get up every 2 hours, stretch, get a drink, (beer) and maybe some pain meds.... :D

Caution: Do not drink alcohol and drive heavy machinery while taking this medication...

Can we upload a mod for new engine sounds ... thinking or a nice running water fountain sound that increases in volume with throttle input ... that should take care of Tristan.
