Force Dynamics

Force Dynamics has two incredible cockpits that simulate motion. You gotta watch their videos. The prices I've found so far - for the Model 301 $37,500 and for the Model 401 and rather heart-stopping $52,000, for a sim-cockpit! Lets see, how many track days - real car, real track - would that be? I don't know, but I'm sure it would be alot. And I doubt my wife would go for either one of 'em. ;( heheh

I would need a new house first, the wife would kick me out for even suggesting it !!.....lol

After the new pc and tv, everything for the new baby's room I tried for a new wheel and got THE LOOK.

I understand - no new toys for me until after our house is built, later this year. Though I should be able to get 3 or 4 grand to get my Jeep lifted, but other than that, nothing else.

i would rather see you on a real track in a real car, before i saw you spend 50 grand on a sim cockpit, track days and even races dont cost but like 200-600 entry fee,.. get you a cheap beater car and go real racing.

i cant imagine paying that much for cockpit.. im still sim racing on a store bought PC at a desk with a G25. all my money goes twords real racing.

I'd get the new car if I were you, lol!

A guy put together a review about these simulators at RSC. He wasn't all that impressed.

I suppose if I was a really really rich guy with bazillions a dollars just burning a hole in my pockets, I might splurge and buy one just for the heck of it, but I'm not, I my wife would prefer we get our house built this year.

You could buy a caterham 7 series, or radical for those prices. Those are nice track cars.

Good choice, you could have a ton of real life track time for that much money.
