This looks like a very fun mod but I don't see much interest in it. Are the plans to run this mod still in the works

Has anyone tried it yet? Looking for comments on it because I was thinking of purchasing but before I spend the doe....

This isn't a mod - it is the game Race: WTCC from simbin. And there has been quite a bit of interest in it here, but Tim is still figuring out the Steam stuff for online play

I stand (acually sit) corrected Chip. It is not a mod. But still I hope it comes about!

i see if they patch it, it would be on par with gtr2, it seems a bit ruff, but the racing would be very close with many diff manufacturers, i can't beleive they tried to charge $40 for this, i never paid mroe than $10 @ best buy for each gtr? plus the mini cooper cup would be cool. i dunno, if it has wheels and a motor i'll try to race it.

There have been several patches. They are distributed via Steam.

crap, and this is the best it looks...wow. i still think it would be some close racing, it seems this game i think was never advertsied as a hardcore sim like gtr, i think. well either way, i may buy it. i like to watch btcc on speed and this is pretty close.

It is fun, and personally, I don't car if there are graphics issues, the racing is what's important to me.

is it suggested to get a hard copy or run the game from a steam install??

It doesn't make any difference as far as game play is concerned. I think it's more a question of either downloading it or buying the box version. Which is more practicable for you?
