GT Open - Saturday afternoon US time, evening UK time.
If you would like this series on another time or day, request it in the R2P suggestions group and make sure to complete the survey on your "pitbox" page.

GT-Open
Description - GTR2 Sports Car Racing. GT, G2, nGT, and G3 cars compete in mixed-class field races lasting 2-3 hours each.

Race Settings:
Sim: GTR2
Simulation Mode
GT/nGT Races are 330k in length (max 120 minutes)
GT/nGT racer - 1X Fuel and Tire consumption
G2/G3 racers are 60minutes in length
G2/G3 races - 2X Fuel and Tire consumption
Changeable weather in all sessions
Driver Aides allowed: Clutch
Manual formation lap
100% Damage
Some events may end after sunset

GT-O Classes: (maximum of 12 GT cars, 14 nGT cars, 12 G2 cars, 14 G3 cars)
GT: F550, F575, Lambo, Lister, Saleen, Viper, Vette, Maserati, Porsche GT2
nGT: F360-Modena, Porsche-RS, F360-GTC, Porsche-RSR
G2: BMW GTR, Porsche Turbo, SEAT, Mosler, Morgan
G3: BMW Z3, Porsche GT3, Viper CC, Elise, (Vertigo excluded)

Restrictions:
- All R2P policies
- Driver must stay with car chosen at start of season, unless changing class.
- Only default cars may be used (no skins either, sorry)

Drivers Championship Points (each Class)
15-12-10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
Top qualifier: 1pt

Team Championship Points
Team points are the combined points scored of all team-drivers in event, divided by the number of drivers in the event. Single-car teams are still divided by at least two drivers.

Absolutely no chance of the 911 GT2 being included in GT-O as G2? It's slow enough to fit in.

Going with an "open" format, the GT cars will still be in place for the 2007 GT-O Series. In fact, GT-O will feature all four classes on track! If there is a need to divide the classes onto two servers, it will be done.

500K for the season finale at Spa is like when CART used to have the California 500 as their finale, F nascar, were having the biggest race of the year at the end!
