Well well well. I have some "bad" news. It doesnt look like I wil be able to help at all for the upcoming Imola race. I am going to be to busy at work the next week. I have two big bids due the 19th and 21st of this month and can only work on them Mon-Tues-Wed, so I have 7 days worth of work to do to in 3 days. Gonna be some long nights this week at work. Sorry fellas :( The GOOD news is that I am terribly slow at this track in the Saleen, so it appears that I would not have been much help at all. :) What I have learned is that I dont think the Saleen can make it on 2 stops - it is with in a couple of laps I think. My best suggestion is to fill the tank full and run as long as you can on each stint, and make a splash and go - no tires in the final few laps if needed; in lieu of running 4 equal length stints. Best of luck to you both!

Thank you for filling us in Steve!
To bad about work, hopefully the car thing you were going to attend can keep you spirit up.

Enjoy work... Sounds like a very busy schedule.

Turn the wick down a bit - it'll do 29-30 laps on a tank

45.1 last night. Not consistent either but DAMB is this car fun here. Not as fun as my black Italian Stallion but fun. Gotsta LOVE the sound of that motor. I'm gonna blow my headphones i have it so loud when i'm drivin.

i know, it's slow but i'm getting the gearing where i'm comfortable with it so i don't blow the motor.

Sorry boys but my plan is survival and points. I'm not comfortable enough in this car to go for a win or even be that aggressive with it.

Not looking for a win David, just a finish to gain some team points. PM me your email address, I will send my WIP setup and a setup that Marc sent me, if you would like to try them out.

Are 45.1's really pathetic?

Y'all better talk nice about a Fish, too dad-blabbit. If I'm understanding things correctly, Tommy and I might have been able to run this as the New and Improved Team Vorshlag V.2!!

I dont ever remember talking bad about the Fish? But now that you mentioned it, I will start. ;-) LOL!

I dont think 45.1's are going to be very competetive, unfortunately. Last season in GT-I, the fast guys were running low 44's and a few high 43's in the race. Me in the 575 was slow in the mid to high 44's. But dont feel bad, I cant get the Saleen to go fast here either. High 44's and low 45's is all I have been able to muster. Every now and then I get lucky and will put up a low 44, but I cant do that very often. Yes consistency for me has been the biggest problem as well.

I will email you the setups later this evening.
