The SimRacing International Racing School opens it’s doors once again to the Rookie School program. A 5 week course with class lectures and On-Track Experience to help improve the skill level. We won’t teach you how to drive fast, but we can teach you to be at a level of consistency that will put you in the top 5. Be ready to give up 2 hours per week plus class duties in order to complete the class.

Each session is one week, ending with the lecture series and On Track Assignment. Prior to logging into the race server, we will host a live chat on TeamSpeak and discuss the prior week’s assignments and be available for questions.

The racing school is a "learn at your own pace-but do it in a week" E-learning program, read the material, take the quiz, and study for the discussion and track exercise. Each week's assignments must be completed by Saturday morning, at which time you will log into the server for "On Track Experience." Work at your own pace, copy and paste the information into your word processor and print it if you want. You are expected to be at every class to pass the course.

When you join, you will be expected to participate fully and complete the class. Instructors give their time freely, and schedule their personal lives in order to help with the class.

If you enroll with the idea that we are going to make you fast, then you enrolled for the wrong reason. We are not here to make you fast, we are here to help you be consistent, build confidence and be a good sportsman.

The SimRacing International Racing School was started in 2004, and graduated over 150 rookies over the course of several years. Participants have included real race car driver instructors, and Rodney Arndt, race car driver and beta tester for Papyrus N2002

I've attended Mr. Webb's school. I highly recommend it. Whether you're new or experienced, you'll learn alot. Mr. Webb runs a highly organized and thorough school.

Thanks Joe, didn't know you were a member here! Glad to see you!

Unfortunatley, we use the N2003 PWF GNS series as an instructional base. Yes, it's old technology, but it's the best one for now until I get some good base setups for VHR Nationwide.

All the files you need to attend the class are available as downloads at the school site once you enroll. Right now, I have two classes that just started, one that will meet for the live online session on Saturdays at 10am est, and one that will meet on Thursday nights at 8pm est. I know we have alot of Europeans here, but perhaps we can start a class based off your time zone.
