Check this out: This is what Simon Gillett and his "team" have left us with, having been one of the best venues in Britain for motorsport. A crying shame.
It's also known as signing a deal to race F1 for 16 plus years without securing any finance!!! Bernie E has a lot to answer for too - all bloody politics!

We've got rid of Mosley we just need to be rid of Ecclestone and who knows common sense may prevail again?

Aren't they supposed to finish off this work this year and have a track ready for 2011? Sure it looks bad now, but all constructionsites look like that. Especially during the wintertime.

This was part of the Grand Prix layout construction. No money came through - British GP now back at Silverstone for next 16 or so years. So what is going to happen with Donington is just not known at the moment!

Shame to start such a project if the funding isn't properly arranged to begin with. But they can't leave it like that can they? I mean, it has to be finished.
By the way, wasn't there a virtual version built to show it off? Is that version available anywhere?
