Season 12 of the North American Sim Racing League at Race2Play concluded last night with a one hour event at St. Jovite. Congratulations to Barrett Erickson for taking home the individual championship! Barrett turned in excellent performances all season, logging 4 wins out of 7 races, including a win last night. Mike Miller takes second honors after giving valiant chase at every event. And Ray Nelson rounds out the podium, edging me out by only 3 points after a solid performance at St Jovite. Team honors go to Bad Voices Racing after a season-long battle with CT Racing. BVR edged us out each of the final 3 races to win by 5 points after being tied mid-season. Well done Barrett and Mike Erickson! It's been my great pleasure to organize these events- we have a great group of drivers, a joyous set of cars to explore, and wonderful home here at R2P. Thanks to all for participating! NASRL takes a summer break, with only one event each in July and August. Our next points season will begin in September. Enjoy the summer everybody! |

Fantastic drive all season Barrett. You really had that Lotus on rails. I enjoyed our battles all season. Looking forward to picking them up next season. Congrats again! |

Congrats on the Championship Barrett. Was fun racing with all the drivers. I learned a lot this season.

Well done Barrett. Kudos to Mike M also & all the others. Was a fun time for me although I missed many events. I hope to be able to join you all next season with an Elan this time:) |
