I helped replace a motor in 1 of those old VW buses.
Didn't need a hoist. I just picked up the lawn mower motor and popped it in. LOL
Had fun travling in it back in the gas line days.
I hope your Porsche got a lot more than horse power than the Bus.

An Old VW camper was the start of corvairs in the Aston family. My dad had an older Vanagon and when he was sick of replacing the vw low hp engines, he found a kit to install a 95 hp corvair engine in one. This was in the late 60's. That camper vw lasted our 200k and started the corvair love affair in our family... LOL
