I am going out once again this Feb 10th and 11th to Sears Point for my first HPDE-3 sessions. Again, an open invitation to anyone in the Bay Area that would like to join me. I have a passenger seat that is open so I can take you out on the track with me.

Im still undecided if Im going to drive the Datsun or the BMW. Im going to have to flip a coin I guess.

More to come.

I don't think you have really driven the Bimmer in anger yet have you? seems the obvious choice to me, and you wont need new pads and rotors for EVERY day for it ;)

I just got back from bringing my son to school and I must admit the BMW is just the perfect car for this. The Datsun is more 'setup' for the track, but the BMW is ready to rock and roll for sure.

Nope, I have not driven it in anger yet Darin. It got to take one lap with Jeff last year before the door problem. It does need a little anger in it's life :)

Good Luck Tim, I hope my brake job brings you definite stopping power and may the door gods stay closed for you :)

Tim, found this vid from Sears, thought you might like to see it, S2000 and I think an ITR going at it, Honda challenge cars I can only assume. Appears they are doing around 1:42 laps.

That is the "short-7" config where they dont run all the way down to the hairpin after the carousel. I like that config... but it does cut about 12 seconds off the lap times.
