I managed to quali second to last, but worked my way up to 13th place. It looks like we're having troubles with the 'stay put if you spin till the coast is clear' because I crashed into Greg while trying to tuck on the inside when he backed right into my path. Then later on I had a near miss when someone else tried the same thing.

I learned an important lesson: Don't race with dogs in the back of your car. Mine decided to fight, and I lost concentration during the second half of the race, landing me at the end of the pack.

Well, lap 1 was a total disaster. I went from 21st to 17th by weaving my way through the wrecks. Then Jared Bibi punted me right into the sand and just kept on going. Took me forever to get out and that plus the slowness of the Z meant it was a successful (no spins or major offs due to my error) last place finish. It was an interested experiment, but I'll be taking a faster car next time.

I qualified nicely, but made too many stupid errors during the race. I had 3 offs that happened because I broke loose a little, mostly recovered, and then pushed the throttle too hard before the recovery was complete. Didn't impact anyone else, though, so that's good.

I took a couple taps, but nothing significant. Overall a fun, well battled race. I'll be more careful recovering in the future.
