Race report
Euro G3: Zhuhai on Aug 08, 2007
Car: Porsche GT3 . Class: G3. Start: 19. Finish: 19. Laps: 16.

Apologies for the late post in this thread.

I thought (yet again) lap 1 was ridiculous. I qualied lower than normal due to the fact i hadnt had time for any practise here and was racing using a team mates setup, so i got to see a fair amount of what was going on. Turns 1 to 4 were completely farcical. What were the 4? event stewards watching if they didnt impose any stop and go rulings (they didnt) ?? I had to take to the grass to meander through countless spinning cars crashing into each other. I got through un-scathed miraculously, only to get around to T4? where a viper decided to rabbit punch my rear end with repeated nudges until i finally went off onto the grass.
I almost quit again at that point, thinking whats the point of racing here? But i stuck to it and enjoyed a fairly long battle with Mosely in his viper. But even then, when i did get past him on the outside under braking, he then nurfs me in the side onto the grass. I watched him do this to a team mate a lap or so later on same corner and then to Enis a while later on, so no excuses.

I do apologise to Enis D for colliding with him quite late in the race, it wasnt an opportunistic late braking manouvre, i came flying upto the corner tucked up tight in Moselys viper slip stream, and when he then hit the brakes far earlier than i needed to in the porker, i had to dive out with way too much momentum and unfortunately collected Enis as he turned in, putting us both in the gravel.
I quit at that point as had more than enough of contact racing ! So sorry to Enis, hope it didnt affect your race.

I'm sorry but at the moment i see no point in continuing to race here if these poor driving standards continue, and i bloody pay to race here! I race regularly in other leagues with nothing like this happening without punishment. Do the event stewards not watch replays and post-punish regular offenders?
