Davis just lost the momentum coming out of Variante Alta allowing Brown to retake the lead...

Unlucky Xavier :( you well had the pace to win (maybe next one mate)

Steve - pity you are out of the next one, with you being my closest rival in the standings, but i suppose alot can happen yet......

My qualy went pretty well, managed a pb again when it mattered, no real work on the setup so i can`t complain - felt good to get another pole though :) although that is only the start and you have to survive all the laps :P

Got a perfect start and got away still leading and just drove sensibly for the first 4 or 5 laps telling myself just keep doing what you`re doing.... until i got a big bounce going into Variante Alta and lost the back end then Steve was through in a shot! so got back upto pace but was`nt really putting any pressure on Steve for 3 or 4 laps so just pushed that bit more and luckily started to gain slightly per lap and with a few laps to go Steve had a slow exit coming out the same chicane and i just went for it on the outside and Steve didn`t put up too much of a fight (thanks Steve) and i retook the lead and just continued to push, only this time didn`t listen to the voices in my head :P

Pole and a win feels very nice, and i managed to move another 2 points ahead in the standings also in the constructors :) well done to Phil for holding onto 4th.

Doubt i`d have been pole or winner had all the entry list had turned up, but i take what i can and make most of my opportunities :P

Cya all at the next one.
