First, congrats to David and Steve. Then, apologies to Adrian for the start incident.
I practiced my clutch starts about 100 times. Come the race and my brain goes into reverse and gearbox was in neutral. Wot a twot! When the lights went green and I dropped the clutch in a hail of revs I very quickly realised WTF!! i'm not in gear. Panicked and grabbed first. Revs were still in the stratosphere resulting in a bit of sideways slidy-slidy, into the side of Adrian who, to his credit, tried to get outta the way, but ended up sideways across my bow. Sorry Adrian, humbly! Also to whoever it was ploughed into Adrian. All my fault ....

Worked up from 8th to 4th, then outbraked myself behind Sergey when he climbed on the brakes earlier than I usually do and I went into the kitty litter and back to 8th. But along the way had some nice dices with Colin, Daniel, Michael, Phil and Sergey. Good clean racing all! This really is a league of good racers, methinks. (OK, except for my brain fade at the start....!)
Well done all!!
