Race report
F2: Fuji on Nov 09, 2008
Car: Formula IS. Class: FIS. Start: 3. Finish: 2. Laps: 44.

Mission acomplished.
I took as many points from this race as there was available. 10 points with Fabio tonite was like a nice dream, with his qual time and low 1:17 pace at the start of the race.

I saw replay of that "incident" (sort of), between Fabio and Boyd at the chicane: Boyd drove normal sequence at that time and Fabio went str8 in front of him, then spinned - again towards Boyd and than all that stopped. That could be mine lucky moment:). But, I am so pleased that your races didn't ended there. Honestly.

So, Boyd took that 2nd spot for the start. I decided to try to start the race as perfect as I can. I did that. Boyd missed for some reason and Fabio wasn't my point of interest at that time. For some reason (Boyd spun etc.) it was preaty relaxing sort of racing for the first 15 laps. Than my softs started to loose contact with tarmac. Awww, I made some small mistakes and than decided to go for a new set of tires and some fuel. Boyd was closing on me, and some traffic was in front so there was no better time for a stop.
Back on 4th, than other drives made their stops and I was again between Fabio and Boyd, at 2nd. Time difference was somewhere around +17 seconds - don't know why and where Boyd lost that time again, so I relaxed, put boost on some secure option - 2, and cruised for that 2nd spot. Boyd closed to me at 10 seconds at the end. That was still enough secure.

Thanks to all the drivers that took part last night. Some fair racing again. Thank you guys. See you next time.
